I started fishing Ambassaduer conventional reels. Now I am all low profile Revo reels. I need to add a new reel and was thinking about getting an Ambassadeur again. I feel like it might be awkward since I am all low profile now. Anybody use both effectively? How does the performance of the Ambassaduers compare now to that of the Revos?

hey, I am fishing Guntersville tomorrow. I love Red Eye Shads and I think you can have everything covered with a few colors. I have killed them on Lake G on Chrome with blue back or black back. Also I use sexy shad, sexy shad chartreuse, and the red craw. That is the only 5 colors I would use.

The original Veritas and Vendettas had issues with breaking. Those issues have been fixed based on what I heard. You will still have common breaks as you do with any rod.

I have never used a spare spool.

also a reason I buy quality lures since most of them have acceptable hooks on them.

I don't fish water 25 feet deep. I am in a kayak in rivers and creeks that aren't ever that deep. Bandit Ledge 250 at 14 feet is about as deep as I go.

I am reel specific - Abu Garcia but not rod specfic I have Dobyns, Kistler, Abu Garcia

I have a Dobyns SBMT795 For Bull shads with 25lb test. I will use a Dobyns 766Flip for a-rigs. It will have braid on it for flipping anyways. I know people say that don't want to buy a rod for specific big lures but after buying the BullShad/Dobyns/Toro - it is all I want to through with the right conditions. Well worth the money.

just a heads up that Rage lures break really easily. I avoid them now. A Big Bite Baites Real Deal Craw or Missile D Bomb work better and last all day.
