  1. I have a 7 and it is fast enough for me. At a price of $299, I am probably out on this one. Would rather get a Toro for Swimbaits or another Revo SX. Any idea on the price of the Morrum?
  2. Taco Bell Chili Cheese Burrito. wait, are we talking about discontinued food or lures. as far as lures, I really don't have any discontinued lures that I wish I had.
  3. I broke 3 Vendettas in about 2 weeks. I have some Vendetta 2s that are better. I think the original runs of Vendettas and Veritas had some quality issues dealing with breaking but I think they have worked out the kinks.
  4. I love Big Bite Baits. Squirrel tail and the Flying Squirrel are my two favorite. The Coontail is also awesome.
  5. yes, There is a kit to convert a cooler to a live well at BassPro for about $40. It has a pump that can be in the water and cycle through the water. I have one for my cooler.
  6. So I was lucky to snag a Curado 300EJ off Amazon when they had the price wrong. I am either going to sell it and get an Abu Garcia Toro or keep it. I am wanting to throw a 6 inch Bull Shad which weighs around two ounces from a kayak. Which rod do you suggest for swimbaits? Dobyns?
  7. I had the regulars and if you fish all day in the rain, you will be soaked. They work well for sprinkles. I am also interested in getting the Toadskinz bibs and jacket. They are supposed to be better for rainstorms.
  8. Wright & McGill Rick Clunn squarebill rod is awesome for $50.
  9. you could go to Wal mart and check the $1.50 bait box and get a couple of Heddon bone colored baby spooks and tear fish up.
  10. I use the Rick Clunn Wright & McGill glass rods and it makes the deep cranks a breeze. Less stress on my wrists.
  11. I learned if you are connecting a small gauge to a larger gauge, use the larger gauge size connector and cut the smaller gauge farther down and fold it over to double it up. You do not want to trim the larger gauge cause broken wires can lead to hot spots.
  12. find a new Revo SX gen 3 on Ebay for $130.
  13. I started using a beaver this past year and have also yet to get a bite. Paca Craws on the other hand are beastly.
  14. I have yet to break a palomar knot.
  15. those rods are awesome! I have one for squarebills and love it.
  16. I bought a lot when they were Buy One Get One Free and love them. I do not miss or lose fish on Trokar. Love them.
  17. I do mine every winter when I can't fish and bored to death.
  18. I know he is already culling by 8:30. Just caught a nice 4 lb. spot
  19. My wife has a 10+ lb. bass mounted. She grew up in the country and loves fishing. Last time we went to the beach, she used one of the kids Barbie rods.
  20. Got two small children. 4 & 2 years old. Wife wants some Luke Bryan tickets which go on sale tomorrow. Fine, I will buy two of them. Anyways, we go to the beach a lot and fish a lot. Looking to get a spincast reel for her. Abumatic has a saltwater ready reel but it has horrible reviews. Normally when she fishes, it includes a bobber. Maybe the abumatic would be a good combo for her. Any other suggestions?
  21. cold weather I use a Shad Rap for the tighter wobble.
  22. I am bandit fanboy. Bandits have a wide wobble. They make a crankbait called the flat Maxx with a tighter wobble but it is a longer profile similar to a shad rap. Check out the Spro Little John MD for a deeper crank with a tight wobble.
  23. the insert of the top tip fell out of my Quantum Smoke rod. I am still under warrranty and contacted Quantum. They are going to replace my rod as long as I send it in with receipt. Hope this all works out. I still have a rod tube from *** that I will use to ship it off. Thumbs up to Quantum!
  24. At the wal mart in Millbrook, AL, the Vendetta 1s were the $29.99 and the Vendetta 2s were still $79.99. Still a great price for the Vendetta 1s.
