  1. They should rename it TRASHMASTER
  2. Iaconelli, Evers, KVD, Ish, Crews
  3. I would ask him where exactly are the stocked ponds he's fishin
  4. I heard if you rub ammonia on the spot the catfish shanked you, the burning stops. But the day I put ammonia on an open wound... :-/
  5. I caught a 6 and a half pounder on a piece of hot dog.
  6. I think more people chose morning because the question was "what is the best time to bass fish" not "what is the best time to catch bass". More people probably can and will fish in the morning of hot days opposed to the heat of the day or the late night. But as for catching bigger fish at mid-day, the biggest fish I've ever caught was at 1:00 in the afternoon and it was almost 90 degrees.
  7. Usually the first thing I think when I'm not catching fish is "Why am I fishing here?", then if I have a good reason to fish that particular spot I'll switch presentations, if not I'll simply move to another location with the same presentation.
  8. In Indianapolis theres Eagle Creek and Geist Reservoir, but I'm not sure how much shore fishing there is on either although Geist is really developed with housing editions and stuff. I'm pretty sure Patoka has boat rentals, if you want to drive to Jasper.
  9. RUSH-Closer to the Heart "Lady luck never smiles So lend your love to me awhile Do with me what you will Break the spell take your fill"
  10. Blue Oyster Cult---Godzilla "With love we'll find a way just give it time Round and round What comes around goes around...I'll tell you why"
  11. The bluegill may have went after the sinker, and when you set the hook, you probably shanked him in the chest.
  12. Especially right after I catch one
  13. The senko is such an easy bait to fish and catch fish with, it isn't allowing anglers to become educated on what the fish want in a specific situation. This, in turn hurts fisherman when they dont know what to do when the senko is not working in a particular place. It's all about versatality and the senko is restricting anglers to just using one bait because it usually catches fish. As much as I dont want to say it, I'm thinkin about leavin the Tiki Stiks at home next time. :-/
  14. We've been studying WW2 in history class and every time when I'm zoning out and my teacher says general Yamamoto I immediately snap out of it. Its crazy Anyway I knew I had it bad when today I caught a dink on a Fat Ika and immediately switched to a Tiki Stik.
  15. It took awhile for me to actually land a fish on a senko too. But now these things are absolute dynamite, they definately deserve a fair chance.
  16. Personally, I think it's easier on a baitcasting gear and you want to have some slack in your line to let the bait glide side to side between twitches. As for the action, just experiment with the angle and cadence of the rod along with when to take up the slack line and just practice....alot.
  17. Has anyone else busted a crankbait on the bottom of a bridge when you just wanted a longer cast? (It was a very low bridge)
  18. I've been more sucessful using the stop and go technique with my crankbaits opposed to a steady retreive. In what situations does each retrieve become more effective? What conditions do you look for to determine which retrieve to use?
