Pay Fishing
$20 for maybe a small pond I can walk around easy and takes 10-15 minutes to go around.

Found It On Youtube What Do U Think
I always thought of golf course ponds as holding bass even before I started fishing for them so never saw that as unusual. They do look like largemouths and I think on a couple shots I see a faint, but distinct horizontal line.

Is Trolling Cheating? ;)
I never liked the idea of saying a certain tecnique is cheating, especially when that person doesn't completely understand it. I started out saltwater fishing from both boat and shore and it always bothered me when people say boat fish don't count or that particular way is cheating, because most times they never been on a boat if maybe just a couple times that turned out really well. Of course it has it's advantages, but for me personally fishing for so long I honestly can't distinguish which areas I had the most luck.

Are You Willing To Buy Expensive Lures?
Yep same here. I buy a little here and a little there every once in a while. To me, anything thats $12 or above is expensive and the most I spent on a single lure is around $28.

What Was That Monster?!
I have to agree on common carp too. Sometime back in april or may I was fishing a river and heard a loud splash and made a few casts in that direction, but no takers. Then a second one and I saw the whole body come out and thought it looked like a huge striper. Then the next one was very close and realized it was a common carp. Difficult to say, but had to be eighther in the 20 or 30lb range at least. I never seen a fish that size bring it's whole body 3-4 ft out of the water. Of course after seeing that, I spent some days using bread and corn to try and catch one. I was never able to get a single take and gave up soon after.

Why I Use A Leader ......
There is no reason to fear them as they lack the jaw power to do any serious harm. I always keep a small pair of pliers and towel in my back pocket, both to get a good grip and reach tricky spots; other than that, I usually don't need em. I really don't mind catching other species, especially pickerel and pike as they put up a stronger and longer fight than any bass I've caught. Other then the teeth, what not to like?

Hit The Jackpot At Walmart Again!
I got 2 rebel jumpin minnow T20 and 1 T10 and also purchased a cotton cordell redfin all for $2 each that I found in a bait bonanza box. Interestingly, the name of the plugs dont show in the packageing so had to look it up online as to what they were. Both the jumping minnow T10 an T20s work excellent and does a great walk the dog action and very easy to work. On the otherhand, the cotton cordell has been a dissapointment and only because it wont tune. I have ha fish jump on it though. I might go out and buy the heddon zara puppies next as the top water plugs seem to work well.

No More Treble Hooks For Me, Im Getting Rid Of All Of Mine
Try working one hook out at a time. As for switching out trebles, I actually did a little experiment with some circle hooks with pretty good results. Not only that, but it's pretty snagless too. Other then that, I still use trebles majority of the time.

How Religious Are You?
I use to keep everything super organized and have all lures seperated, because I'd get worried about all the hooks scraping up the paint and all. The same thing with the soft plastics, I put them in plano boxes. But now, I just throw everything together, so now when I pull a lure out I got 3 or 4 tagging along.

Craziest Thing That Happened To You While Fishing.
I decided to wade in my shorts to cover more water and about 30 min in I saw something large in the corner of my eye breaking the surface. I wasn't sure what I was thinking, but I freaked a little bit and ran back to shore the best I could. After that I was more curious than afraid and looked around. It turned out to be a large otter. It was big that at first I thought it was a seal. It was the very first time I saw one and never knew they lived in this state.

Is Icast Open To The General Public?
Wow, I did not know that. I just generally assumed it was a large event for the public to have a first look. Maybe one day.

Most Expensive Lure You've Lost
I haven't really lost anything expensive, but losing the cheap lures can put a damper on my mood sometimes. The large jointed rapalas are not necessarily cheap, but I remember losing like 5 of those within a couple months.

Cant Catch Anything With Senkos????
I had the same problem, but then Ibought a polarized sunglasses and started sight casting near them. Problem solved :>. I also see bass zoom in out of nowhwhere to grab a sinking senko. I guess my problem before aas that the bass just weren't around. It's pretty fun way of fishing too. Watching the line go from slack to taut is the best part.

Walk The Dog Question

Do Some Lures Stay Out Of Tune?
Do some lures stop tuning after a while? I have a bomber long a that won't run true anymore no matter how much I try. It looks to be fine except some scuffs here and there. I mean its just an eyelet right?

Yo-Zuri And Duel
Like mentioned before, Yo-zuri and Duel are mostly associated with saltwater, and are well respected. Most of the lures I use for saltwater are Yo-zuri. The problem I think is that most stores in the states carry only the saltwater lineup. THe only time I seen the freshwater lures are in specialty bass tackle shops.
