haha any excuse to buy a new reel is a good excuse oh just make sure you use like a 20-40lb leader cause their gill plates are extremely sharp

snook will hit big baits or small baits or anything really lol...your setup should be ok unless you are fishing around lots of areas to break off in that case youll need a rod that can pull them away from those places but 100 or so yards of line should be ok also the snook on the gulf side tend to run a bit smaller than the east side so your chances of catching 30+ lbers are a bit less than if you were on the east coast

any floating crank bait is good really...i use the kvd cranks as jerk baits

lol the vegetation killer they use on farms here is so concentrated its like oil

i mostly fish for snook but mostly ill target anything saltwater

could be o2 sensor...it helps regulate the air/fuel mix and if it gets clogged or goes bad it will give off faulty readings to the computer to mess with the ratio

i use a palomar or an improved clinch and burn the tag end...also the guide thats closest to the reel should be half the diameter of the spool on the reel to be a good match(unless you are using MW system) so some reels that match will cast further than others that dont

i would see the BA degree through like clayton said and also do the ASE...it doesnt really matter how you learn it for certifications because the cert is supposed to show you know how to do everything i know a few people who run shops out of their garage and do great but it helps even more if you know the business side also

i do everything with braid...and if they will hit a huge metal umbrella rig why would they care about braid lol

even if you have its sometimes scary haha...me and a friend fished jonathan dickinson park a couple years ago and a huge gator following us when i was trying to get a large snook in the boat lol...they see the splashing and think its feeding time

i ask when im not going to wade flats...if im going flats fishing i go alone or with someone else who already knows how to be silent and not splash around

for the spinnerbaits and crank baits it depends on how deep i want it to go...for the buzzbaits my tip is up a bit and walk the dog style tip down

you dont have to fish a buzzbait with a constant retrieve

yeap it works on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits and very excellent on chatterbaits.the way a feather swims back and forth on a chatterbait is great

buzzbaits are my favorite for bass

lol my uncle owns a lawn service company and he does a rich persons house that has about 10ft long by 4ft wide piece of grass only haha dude gives him $200 a month to cut it and he just uses the weed eater for a few mins lol
