  2. i have some $400-700 reels but all my rods are custom builds built by me lol and the materials don't usually come out to $300+ so not me
  3. sounds like a scam to me...he probably mails you a check for more than you are asking and wants the change..then you end up cashing it and the cops bust down your door for fraud...tell him to make a trip and bring cash since he apparently already has the money in the bank for the check
  4. i use 30lb braid with a 40lb leader with them and the knot slides through easily...i use a slim beauty knot and works perfectly

  7. ive used the welding rods and torch and it worked good just take a bit of practice to get a good weld and some mapp gass...you can also use a bit of 5200 that has worked on all the rivets in my small jon boat

  12. for a surprisingly long while....at the lake worth spillway there is usually schools of them on the banks even when the spillway is closed so im guessing they can last some days
  13. i dont hang on to anything really...once im done with it i sell it or give it away cause i dont like to have a lot of stuff im not using sitting around collecting dust lol
  14. went to the lake worth spillway today and seen 7 keepers taken in 4 hours but 5 of them were from the same guy so the fwc had a field day when i reported it...some people are just ignorant
  15. excellent fish! snook season started today so ill be out later fishing it up
  16. freeline and hook it through top lip or nose and when we use them we are going for big snook so we use 1lb or so size but any size will work
  17. haha they are great but i hate using big live baits like that....i have to be casting and reeling a lot or i get bored lol
  18. my friend sets the hook like he wants to rip their face off lol uses braid too but never breaks rods..i hardly set the hook normally the fish sets it and the sharp hook does its job but maybe you are over the top setting it so the rod is facing behind you lol

  20. lol this guy is a jerk for real though he deserve...he doesnt give overtime so he tries to find some way to cut your hours so he pays for lunch 30 mins unless you get more than 40 hours at the end of the week he will remove the 30 mins each day for lunch to get it down to 40 hours to not pay overtime lol...they do high rise window cleaning lol

  22. i have an htc evo that works great but it overheats once in a blue moon lol...maybe your digitizer needs to be replaced? either way i would sell the phone cause iphone users will pay a grip lol and buy something worth using instead
  23. well you could modify it again and try out some new blade shapes also
  24. ive been doing it for about 8 years or so and i still hand wrap also...really it doesnt take that much longer to hand wrap...i dont use a drying motor anymore either as i find i get better results turning by hand every once in a while
