  1. I agree it depends on the kayak. Before I bought my Frontier 12', I demoed the Frontier 10' and it tipped completely over, with me with it, of course. And at that point, I had been kayaking for about 5 years. It is the most tippy kayak I ever tried.
  2. Nucanoe Frontier 12 footer. Very stable and versatile.
  3. What do you consider a high end kayak ?
  4. I would also recommend an aluminum jon boat. A 14' or 16' with at least a 48" wide floor. I had a 1648 jon boat and it was unbelievably stable.
  5. Google "DIY CANOE OUTRIGGERS"
  6. That boat is very narrow too, which adds to the problem.
  7. I agree about the Frontier 12. I've had mine for a few years and it's excellent.
  8. That looks like a Chatterbait
  9. Nice. Were you able to try it out?
  10. I looked into the Lure 11.5 but the closest dealer was way too far away. It looks like a great kayak though.
  11. Are you able to try out any of those kayaks? That's the best thing to do.
  12. Thanks guys. Also, what is the advantage to running the top trolley line THRU the ring? I notice most guys don't do this.
  13. Thanks. What's different about the yak attack trolley?
  14. Thanks. I'm wondering why some guys have one on each side.
  15. For you kayak owners out there, do you have an anchor trolley on 1 side or both sides of your kayak? Is both sides necessary? Thanks.
  16. Which one are you buying? I have the Frontier 12. When I go myself, I don't use a trailer. I just slide it in the back of my minivan. Otherwise, I use a utility trailer with a 2X4 floor, spaced for drainage. Sorry, but I don't know how to post a pic.
  17. When installing pad eyes for anchor trolleys, etc. do you use 100% silicone for the screw holes, or another product? Thanks.
  18. Do you plan to buy in a store or online? I bought a kayak online a couple years ago. It was a very good deal because it was the previous years model. That's another option.
  19. Good luck landing and releasing a fish on a paddleboard.
  20. I don't break down my rods anyway, so I figured a 1 piece. And I don't have to worry about the connection loosening up. Why are 1 piece light action rods so scarce? I don't get it.
  21. Thanks, but I don't want to spend that much. I may just go with a 2 piece.
  22. Their website shows it's only available in ultralight
