Storing A Polyethylene Canoe Outside
Thanks Rhino. If I keep it on a trailer, how is it best covered? I read that a tarp cannot touch the hull because it will cause mold. What type of cover would be best, and how are you guys covering your poly canoe(to keep cover from touching boat?

Portable Shelter/canopy For A Boat
Does anyone use a portable shelter/canopy for your boat? If so, is there one you would recommend? I'm thinking about 10' X 20'. One company I was looking at is Ecanopy.com Thanks.

Storing A Polyethylene Canoe Outside
If you store a poly canoe outside, how do you do it? In the shade? On sawhorses? On a trailer? I'm considering a square stern poly canoe, but I want to be able to store it outside on a trailer. Will that be possible? Thanks.

Perfect For Small Lakes And Ponds
I was considering the Lure 11.5 also, but decided I'm going to buy the Nucanoe Frontier. What clinched it is the elevated/swivel seating and the great stability. My back will be very happy !!

Truck Bed Extender(Question)
I was looking at the truck bed extenders on Harbor Freight's website, but they are meant for a Class 3, 2" receiver. My mini van has a Class 2 receiver. Is there an adapter I can buy so I can use their extender? If so, where can I find it? Thanks.

Fishing Kayak Help Buying
I would look into the Perception Sport Striker at Dick's, $499. The Perception kayaks are very popular budget kayaks.

Craft For Standing While Fishing.
OK thanks.

Craft For Standing While Fishing.
A-Jay, how does your canoe differ from the Old Town Saranac square stern model at Dick's? Have you ever seen the one at Dick's in person? I know the seats are different, but do you know what else? Thanks.

Kayak Trailer
Check out the Trailer section at Texaskayakfisherman.com. There's a lot of pics of kayak trailer builds using the Harbor Freight trailers, boat trailers, and jet ski trailers. Click on "Kayak Rigging" then "Post Your Trailer".

Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game Ii
Ken, did you ever buy a kayak? I'm also interested in the Big Game 2, Predator 12' and Nucanoe Frontier 12'(for the stability and square transom). Thanks.

Maiden Voyage On My New Ride 115X

Maiden Voyage On My New Ride 115X
The floor of the 115X and 115 Advanced Angler appear to different, correct? The floor of the 115X appears to be really cluttered. Is there actually room for your feet to stand? Thanks.

Kayaks With "motor-Ready" Transoms
Thanks. I'm not interested in kayaks with the motor underneath like that, or mounting it on the side.

Kayaks With "motor-Ready" Transoms
Thanks for responding. I tried the Commander, but I hated the floor.

Kayaks With "motor-Ready" Transoms
Are the Nucanoes the only kayaks with square "motor-ready" transoms? If not, what other kayaks are there? Thanks.

Nucanoe Or ...?
I'm also considering the Frontier 12' and the new Native Ultimate FX12. Being used to a SOT, I don't know if I want a hybrid type though. I have to get my butt in them to try them out. I do like the option of using a trolling motor on the Frontier if desired.

Nucanoe Or ...?
Thanks, but which kayak are you referring to?

Bit The Bullet On A New Ride
Thanks DogBone. I'm 5' 10" and weigh 215. Are you saying there's not enough leg room in the 10 footer? What exactly do you mean?
-
Bit The Bullet On A New Ride
I'm interested in the Lure 10', but 69 lbs. seems heavy for a 10 footer, doesn't it? Do you think that's the weight with the seat? Speaking of the seat, is it comfortable?

Bit The Bullet On A New Ride
What do you mean by "tracking options"? I'm also looking into the Frontier.

Nucanoe Or ...?
Thanks. I'm considering 2 kayaks: "Native" Ultimate 12, and "Nucanoe" Frontier. I haven't tried either yet. I'm wondering how difficult it will be for me to get in and out of the U12(back problems). I need a very stable kayak, elevated comfortable seat, and easy to get in and out of. I weigh 215 lbs. and fish small ponds, and lakes up to 200 acres.
