  1. The decision should be left up to the business owners.

  3. If it has rained so much why aren't the lakes holding water? Is the ground so dry that tthe water is wicking away? or is the spring feeding it so low that the spring hasn't filled up yet? I would think 8.5 in's would have filled up every lake around???? TVA lakes won't start retaining water until March or April. The local town whose reservoir I fish more than any other place is supposed to be starting an upgrade to their water treatment plant this year, so I'd say they're keeping the lake down for that future work.
  4. Hard to find a place in Richmond that isn't in the hood. Even the times I've stayed on W. Broad resulted in some hairy moments.
  5. We've had over 8.5" in the last 40 days. And due for another 2"+ over the next 36 hours. Wouldn't be so bad if the lakes would fill up, but few are holding any water. >
  6. Isn't that in the works for June? Ain't gonna be at my house.
  7. I got a spare room and an air mattress. I'll feed you every day. All I ask in return is for you to teach me to catch fish.
  8. Buy it from Bass Pro. $21 for 5 lbs. ;D ;D ;D
  9. FWIW, the Cabela's TackleCraft catalog has some similar skirts. Catalog # is 32-0422
  10. I have to buy their stuff and I'd still do anything they asked.
  11. Wow, TT is really in the bag for Shimano. Considering their reputation as an 'enthusiast' site, their review of a rod like the Voltaeus is quite puzzling.
  12. : : : Refunds are given in the form of the original payment.
  13. There was a good thread here sometime over the last couple of weeks that I couldn't find. I think Micro posted that the Revo S is now using the HPCR bearings and a different aluminum frame.
  14. I ordered one last week. I'm hoping it will be a decent rod, although I had to take two double shots of Glenlivet in order to pay that much for a Quantum rod.
  15. No, your kidding? That obvious, eh? ;D
  16. I have the G Loomis CBR906. An excellent rod. My only complaint is that the butt section could be slightly longer. Other than that, it is a great rod for what you are looking for. That is a problem with all longer rods. I do not understand why manufacturers do not put a longer handle on 7'+ rods.
  17. For that price, the HMG all day long and twice on Sunday.
  18. Gee, that sounds almost good enough for me to treat you to a hotel room. : Hell, I'm still trying to find a decently priced hotel room for Sunday night that isn't in the hood.
  19. Never let old people try to operate computers. Trying to link to a Gmail attachment... ;D
  20. 1. No. Inspection is only required for trailers equipped with brakes and/or over a certain gross weight. http://www.dmv.virginia.gov/webdoc/citizen/vehicles/trailerreg.asp http://www.vsp.state.va.us/Safety.shtm#InspectionProgram 2. VA does not require a safe boater's course as yet. The requirement is coming. Check the following site for more information. http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/boating/registration/ http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/boating/education/ http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/boating/education/boating-safety-education-requirement.asp 3. Check with your auto insurance provider. Trailers are usually covered by your auto policy while in use. http://www.dmv.virginia.gov/webdoc/citizen/vehicles/trailerreg.asp
  21. d**n I used to hate those skirts. They melted in the box and dried out quickly.
  22. My MS paint skills aren't the best when using a touchpad on a laptop.
  23. I would pay to see both of the films you mention. Tom Hanks as Little Nicky? That's comedy gold Jerry!
  24. Hmmm, I wonder if 40 lbs. of C4 will be enough for the week? Oh hell, it's on sale, so I'd might as well bring 80 lbs. Teacher always said that if I didn't have enough for everyone to not bring any at all.
