I've got a really good system for choosing films. If the film features Keanu Reeves in any fashion, it goes unwatched. It's a good timesaver.

I tried that last year and look what happened to the economy.

I laughed just as much for Little Nicky as I did Billy Madison. No, strike that, I laughed more. A Tollbooth Willie movie would be quite entertaining. Hell, Tim Meadows did the Ladies Man, Molly Shannon did Mary Catherine Gallagher, Ferrell and Kataan did Night at the Roxbury. So why the hell haven't we gotten an Opera Man movie?

The first thing that came to my mind after reading this was Booger from Revenge of the Nerds: "I've been combin' the high-schools all day." ;D While I've never seen that film, I have a good idea of what you're talking about.

If you want to fish and not play, avoid the 7' rods. They do not allow for a long enough cast. 7'6 and 7'10 (7'11) rods combined with the right line allow you to make very long casts. Consequently, the deep diving bait will have more time at it's target depth. Here is a crude illustration of the point I'm trying to make.

Honest question...why don't other baits require similar packaging? Even the intricate Japanese plastic I have comes loose in plastic bags.

Those rods aren't comparable to the Ugly Stick. Different price point. Retail for the Voltaeus will be $40-50 Some of the info I got on the rods last month... Looking at the lineup, they have a decent selection for the budget-minded angler. Plus a limited-lifetime warranty.

I loved Click and hate Billy Madison. BM has two or three decent scenes. IMO, Click is the best film Sandler has made to date. I've been saying this for years, but if he wanted to do it, Sandler could be the next Tom Hanks. Hanks started out doing comedy, then transitioned to 'serious' roles. Sandler was the lone bright spot in Spanglish and he was pretty darn good in Punch Drunk Love as well. His role in Click was about half and half and IMO he nailed them both.

Message aside, it's a very good Sandler flick. Not as funny as Waterboy, but I'll watch anything Sandler makes.

I thought you caught more that day we fished Big Stoney. That's OK, you still pwn me when it comes to mushroom hunting.

Don't worry, I'm sure they'll have the Zillion rods by Q3 2010.

Exactly... I will say this for Ole Miss. I've seen some very very good photos from The Grove on Saturdays.

If you're a recruiting expert, then you also know that Ole Miss isn't an easy place to recruit. Starkville and Oxford aren't exactly the garden spots of the SEC. That said, David Cutcliffe showed what was possible at Ole Miss. Of the two MS schools, Ole Miss is the better of the two. Houston Nutt did a fine job this season with Ed Orgeron's players. He consistantly kept Arkansas in the race for the SEC West. In summation, as I said earlier in this thread, Houston Nutt is a d**n fine football coach.

I think Jimzee's was bigger than Beast's. I didn't get to weigh Beast's though.
