Thanks for taking the time to do that There IS a ProQualifier BC reel on sale - but it's not the regular production model, but a limited run, light-weight (7.1 oz vs. standard 8.8 oz). The gear ratio isn't specified but I'd bet it's 6.4 or 7.1. It's probably a very nice reel (duralumin gears) but some of us were hoping the new PQ low-ratio (4.7 & 5.2) reels would be on sale... Typical BPS BS. As for their 'sale'...

I don't use the copper lenses, but my current lenses (amber 400) do very well in all light conditions. They have been lifesavers over the last couple of months when working outside (brightness due to snow cover). If I were going to have two sets of CDM's, one would be with a copper or amber lens and the other would most likely be green or silver mirror (if memory serves, the silver mirror has a copper base). When I purchased my current glasses, it came down to either the Amber 400 or the Green Mirror 580. I opted for the Amber 400 due to the small percentage of increased light transmittance. Your best bet (if possible) is to visit a good dealer and try on as many pairs as possible. I realize that may not be possible in many areas due to a lack of good stocking dealers. I got lucky in that I found a small shop in Ocracoke, NC. Wasn't even planning on purchasing and ended up walking out with two pairs of glasses. That guy may have been the best, most through salesman I've ever dealt with. I would honestly drive 11 hours again if I was going to buy another set of glasses.

The mirrored lenses transmits about 8-10% less light than the non-mirrored lenses. If you're worried about visibility in low-light conditions, I would suggest the copper lens.

Hey Burley, I know what your thinkin'. My trailer has a "flow thru" system that allows you to pump as much grease as you want, driving out the old grease without fear of blowing out the seal as you might with a bearing buddy. Can someone give me an educated guess as to how long or how many miles to expect out of a new set of bearings. That would be the Dexter EZ-Lube axles. As for bearing longevity, I have no clue. I've got a couple of farm trailers on which the bearings haven't been repacked in 25-30 years. Not exactly comparable to a boat trailer in terms of the operation environment though. My camper has around 5000 miles on it, all I've done is greased the bearings once. Solid as a rock. IOW, there is no way to know when a bearing will fail. Sometimes stuff just happens.

I can assure you, the worm binder will carry more lures/ baits than you will actually fish all year! More importantly, it will allow you to focus on what you really need. You will NEVER use all the lures you choose on ANY outing. 8-) You do know that live bait isnt usually allowed in tournaments, don't you?

Two things.... If you buy from a local dealer, you're near the front of the line when it comes to service. Buy from BPS and see how long that local Merc shop takes to get to your boat. A friend had a problem with a 200 Pro XS last summer. He had purchased it used from somewhere in KY. Took it to the local Merc shop, they said it would be 3-4 weeks before they could get to it. And they wanted him to leave it there until they could get to it. Second (and I own a Tracker), service on Trackers isn't the best in the world no matter where you go. Call the Tracker Service center at your local BPS and see if they can give you a wiring diagram for your boat. Or a hose diagram. They won't be able to. I've found that out more than once over the last few months. If you plan on doing any work on a Tracker, you'd better know what you're doing. I love my boat, but BPS/Tracker just doesn't offer what a true dealer would/could.
