  1. Pickwick doesn't come near the state of Georgia. :-?
  2. Forget a link?
  3. FWIW, the XPS oval split rings aren't that good. The metal isn't that elastic and will not return to it's original shape after installation. http://www.***.com/descpageHDTTLUCKY-LCRING.html
  4. Off-brand? BPS and Cabela's chargers are made by Pro-Mariner. BL, regardles of who makes them, the chargers with the BPS lable on them are apparently not worth a crap. Just go to their web site and read the customer reviews. I can't speak for the Cabella's brand. I haven't researched their site and am too lazy to start now. I bought a Dual-Pro instead. Best I can tell, Guest and Dual-Pro are highly thought of. I guess I'm the exception. BPS XPS charger going on 1.5 years of being plugged in 24/7 unless it's on the road or water. Blew one fuse in that time.

  6. Yes, it says exactly what it is supposed to say. Don't use a small charger.
  7. While I'd love to take your word for that statement, can you point to anything in writing from one of the Battery manufacturers or charger companys? I have never read or heard that you can actually "undercharge" a battery. That's why they make "trickle" chargers as low as 3/4 amp. http://www.interstatebatteries.com/www/faqs/tech_talk/maintenance/charging.htm If you're trying to charge a G27 or G29 battery with a 5 amp charger, you're going to have a lot of downtime.
  8. OSU has committed over 500 secondary violations in Jim Tressel's tenure. Secondary violations are pretty much meaningless. Where are you getting your information? A simple Google search will provide you with all the information you need. My number is a bit on the high side. The actual number is probably closer to 400.

  10. Killing a deer is animal abuse? : Guess you'd better stop putting those sharp hooks through the lips of a fish. There is a big difference between killing a person and killing an animal. Human > animal
  11. People living your lifestyle rarely do.
  12. Why shovel before the snow ends? If your shoveling, I'm guessing 4 or 6 inches at a time is easier than 24 after it's done. Nah, just a waste of time.

  14. 15 or 17 lb PLine CXX, 17 or 20 lb. Trilene or Stren fluorocarbon.
  15. The thing is, what might be a safe ramp in the daylight could be a dangerous place in the dark. I've seen a lot of strange things at various public ramps. There is one local ACOE lake that I won't fish because both ramps are secluded and are known for a lot of drug deals. I won't launch at a ramp that doesn't have good lighting. The most convienent ramp on Cherokee Lake is also most likely the most crime ridden. Far too easy for criminals to get in & out without being noticed. Situational awareness is key at any ramp, daylight or dark.
