Really? Just look at the 2004 Auburn team. The finished the season undefeated, yet didn't get a chance to play for the MNC. Why not? Because they started the season at the bottom of the barrel. Preseason rankings do a disservice to every team other than those chosen and hyped by the media.

true....but if it can't hold a palomar knot like everthing else can, what good is. I'll take P-Line CXX over vanish anyday....Trilene sensation is more durable than vanish I used Vanish for two years without a problem. Never broke a knot. Those 14-15 inchers really do put your line and knot to the test, don't they? Not so much the bass as the stumps, brush piles and rocks that the line pulled in.

Their taste is the reason they were introduced.

I must be holding my mouth right. Last two times out I've come back to the scales with a limit. Guess it's just a matter of spending time on the water.

If it was as big as it felt, it cost me between $80 and $110. :-/

I've fished it a few times now. It is an impressive reel. Even without cleaning the factory bearings, it blows away the Curado E7 (with clean factory bearings). The drag has gotten tested with a few 3-4 lb. fish and hasn't been found wanting. Managed to drag a 3 lb. largemouth out of a tree Saturday. If you want a sub 6 oz. reel that is as smooth as butter, you could do worse. The only bad thing is that I want more of them. :-[

The first season is over. Not a bad effort. Could use a little more supporting character (e.g. Dale, Bill & Boomhauer) involvement. Mike Judge is great. ;D
