  1. I like this for most applications with that size reel. If space is real tight you may want a 6'. 6'6" Medium fast tip
  2. So true!! We did this sometimes after a day of fishing on the coast at one of the marinas. Sit back have some drinks and watch the show at ramp.
  3. Always a full cork guy until i bought two BPS Carbonlites last year,now i prefer those and split grips. On my fly rods cork only!!
  4. I've got 2 BPS Carbonlites and love them. My 6'9" MH with xfast tip is my favorite worm rod. They go on sale for $80 several times a year.
  5. Shortly after being married(early 90's) we moved to Florida for several years i took up bass fishing. Watched a tv show with someone jig fishing so i went out next weekend with a blue/black jig and uncle josh pork. Started pitching cypress trees and sure enough i hooked(shocked me-ha!!) the biggest bass i had ever seen at that time. Not to long after that i learned how to T-rig and became hooked for life.

  11. Had tucked one setup under my arm so i could zip my jacket and next thing you know it slipped right in to 25' of water. Lesson learned

  13. Same here i picked up some beacause of price but wont be using anymore. I like my Power Pro much better.

  15. Same thing here. Last week water temp 88* storm came in Sat. and Sunday temp was 80* fishing was good all day and caught all in 4' or less water
  16. Ive used a Trilene knot for years and when i switched to fluoro line i had to reduce wraps to 4 turns and wet the heck out of it.Also tighten very slowly and no more problems.
  17. I bought two regular guides first of year and love them.My favorite worm rod is 6'9" MH xfast Carbonlite.
  18. Ive been fishing two Carbonlites with regular guides and i love them. My 6'9"MH xfast is my favorite worm rod now and i ll be replacing my other rods as needed.
  19. X2 except no on the .22 and id suggest getting a concealed carry permit. Lots of trainers offer "women only" classes for this as well as handling

  22. Same here, i fish alot of timber below the waters surface and brown seems to work best for me.
