Crankbait Rod Suggestions
I have a 7'7" m tatula that I rarely use and am considering a new rod. The rod doesn't throw one ounce lures well and is too long for accurate presentations with smaller cranks. I throw lil john dd and a duo g27 from time to time but not enough for a dedicated deep crank rod. My budget is $150. I'm torn between glass, composite, and graphite. I like the okuma tcs series and use the APC for cranks, but the tatula glass gets good reviews. Lucky craft crankbait rod also gets great reviews and is at a great price point. I'd also consider building a rod over winter as I don't need the rod this season.

Thick Grass Bottom Ponds
I've fished a pond like this. It does in fact have holes and edges here and there. Lots of bluegill and fry all over. Still trying to nail down the productive areas but soft jerkbaits and trig soft swimbaits seem to be productive.

Frogs In Thick Pads
Oh I punch. But to cover water for active bass, punching isn't as effective, especially when most of the cover is homogeneous.

Let's Talk Fantasy Lineup For Lake St. Clair
I picked Faircloth this time around and it's working for me. Also had nate wellman and Kevin hawk who both had respectable showings. Josh Bertrand was a risky pick but I didn't see anyone else in bracket who stood out for st clair. He was a bust. I also picked Ehler as he is a hell of a fisherman and I figured he was due for result...but just missed 50 cut. As of yesterday I gained 5%. Better than losing it.

Stable Kayaks
There are two levels of stability in kayaks. I call it initial stability and secondary. First one can make you feel shakey but when you really lean into it the outside edge of the kayak stablizes you. You just have to rock the kayak in shallow water to get a feel for it. My feel free lure rocks some when I stand, but I can lean and take a leak off the side and the kayak is rock solid.

Frogs In Thick Pads
I've been fishing a large pond via kayak with thick large lily pads most of which stand above the water as much as 3 or 4 inches. This can make working a frog through them tedious at times. Is there an easier/more effective technique to cover water in these pads? Soft plastic frog?

Bass Hooked Through Eye
Part of fishing. Best thing to do is pop hook out asap and get it back in water with or without eye. I've caught a couple one eyed fish and I'm sure others here have as well.

Spool Pin Removers
I got a hedgehog about 6 months ago and love it. The boca one was terrible in my experience and could never tell when I was going to damage a pin or pop it out successfully.

Snooty jig because it's upturned nose and thinking it's better than other jigs.

Worth Going Cheap On A Frog Rod?
Team Daiwa s rod is 7'4" rated to 2 oz and loads up great. Also very light for its size. These rods aren't great for other techniques but for frogs and punching it works good.

Feel Free Kayaks
Personally I'm not concerned with trolling. Just need a convenient place to put my rod while I get on phone or prepare a rig.

Feel Free Kayaks
He must have thought I meant the uni bar which I don't have much need for. A mount for a FF and a mount for a rod holder should be enough. Would like a stake anchor but a power pole micro would be fantastic.
