Google Big Ugly knockers on ebay. I never get in the boat with out a couple. Cheap - and they work as well or better than anything else I've tried.

I'm not picky. Not certain I prefer one over the other, but the Rage grip is quite comfortable. And I used it in the rain for a couple hours yesterday and it never felt least bit slippery

I haven't had a day of setting hooks so much with it, I hurt yet...hopefully soon

13.5 According to TW. One piece, neoprene. I have split grips on my other rods, so it was an adjustment for me. I got it real cheap during Dicks'clearance purge. For $60 it was a steal. At $150 regarding I'd probably consider others

I have a Rage and love it now. At first I didn't like the short handle, but I have really come around to it

You can only tell so much from what we say here. Until you get different ones in YOUR hands, this is largely blather. If you narrow down a price range, planned usage, etc, you might get a little better info....maybe. If you haven't....go into a shop with selection and try out a few. And/or check out TW's reel test-drive program. Good luck

+1 It takes a VERY unique disposition to do it. And even then, day traders are the most stressed out people I know. I've known a number of people who gave it a shot. I know exactly one person who I felt had a suitable frame of mind. He made many millions in just over three years. Late in the fourth year, he was barely making rent, renewing his real estate license and driving a car for hire at night. Somehow neither he, nor his wife, EVER complained about their situation. They understood the risks and took the bad with the good. Few people can do that.

I haven't had one throw my Megastrike Strikeback yet. I wasn't sure if it was a gimmick at first, but I'll be the first to say (in this thread) that it works.

Not at all sure what you're asking.... What time of day? Or, year? Or location? There isn't a wrong time to subtly drop a bait into cover....especially if there might be a fish there.

I'd be surprised if there isn't a fair amount of value in practical educational experience for nursing (and other degrees.) However, there's many, many (most?) online degrees that are from 'accredited institutions'.

My wife and I both have PT 100's and absolutely love them. The fact that they can be had for less than $100 makes them even more attractive to me as I shop for my next reel.

JF, I'm going to keep that in mind...but to be perfectly honest, that'll be a tough sell for me....I'm one of those lazy ones that's given up on elaztech ---- besides, I find it hard to imagine me choosing that over a weightless Keitech SI on the surface....that tail gets me excited even before a bass ever catches sight of it.

May just be semantics, but I don't generally consider my fluke presentation to be in the topwater realm. SOMETIMES, when gliding it across badly weeded over water, maybe. But few of my fluke strikes break the surface -- usually its on the pause/fall. Doesn't mean you can't skim it and be successful. But, if I was wanting topwater strikes I'd be carrying a dogwalker, a popper, a frog and a buzz bait at a minimum.

Every time I open this thread, I keep thinking back to ^ I'm curious how many bass pros net more than the use median income...which is what, about 53K? I'd bet its a pretty short list.

I no longer buy hooks with screw lock, unless they're on sale. I just find it cheaper and more flexible to buy the hooks (Owners and Gammy's, generally) and bait keepers separate.

Weightless flukes will usually roll some. The better (straighter) you rig it, the less it will tumble. Since I retrieve it with mostly a series of twitches, vice steady, I don't pay much attention to the rolling anyway....between jerks it will fall more or less upright. I will say that I also usually use mojo weight instead of weightless
