Looking To Add A 10-12" Worm To My Arsenal - Suggestions?
Maybe it's me, but I'd say to not overthink it. Any or all of those mentioned above will catch fish. Find one you can get at the price point you want, in the colors you want and start fishing. You can drive yourself crazy doing a comparison of all the worms on the market.

Local Tackleshop Vs. Retail Giants
I'm fortunate enough to have a phenomenal local place near my office - Hammonds. The place is an institution especially for those who fish Lanier. They recognize me, are happy to share info, cut some discounts, and if they don't have it they will get it for you. Great store with great people! I still do quite a bit of shopping at TW as well.

How Do You Think Ohio State Should Be Ranked?
5. Sorry, but they have the worst loss. With that said, still an absolutely incredible season for them with multiple backup QBs. It seems they have the best backup QB in football every year. I'm still having a VERY hard time understanding any system where FSU is not #1. The defending national champs who have not lost in 29 games when everyone else has at least one loss deserves the top spot.

Recommendations For A Spinning "pond Rod"?
Hehe...as I was writing this, the options that jumped into my head were KLX, St Croix and Dobyns The Dobyns I figured would work was the 683. Does the 682 have enough power for a full-size fluke or 5-inch Senko? I'd use light wire hooks but don't want to overload the rod on what will likely be the primary technique Isn't the St. Croix 68mxf a bit more powerful than its rating, like most other Croix offerings? The most intriguing KLX options also appear to be the ones out of stock. And lastly, I'm hoping to find a rod sufficiently different enough from the Avid 69mlxf, KLX 6'6" ml mod-fast and Dobyns Extreme 703sf I already have to justify the purchase. Hehe....

Recommendations For A Spinning "pond Rod"?
Hey guys, I've not been able to fish much lately but when I have, I've found myself enjoying fishing with a spinning rig. Maybe it's that I'm only getting away for quick trips to some ponds where I'm not finding big fish, but the spinning has been fun lately. With that said, I'm considering adding a spinning rod to the arsenal. Looking for it to be 6'8" - 6'9" and to be pretty versatile. Weightless flukes/trick works/senkos, light t-rigs/shakey heads 3/16 oz or less, shallow running/topwater hard baits 3/8 oz and less, etc. Basically, a "pond rod" in the ~$200 range to be matched with a 2500 size spinning reel and ~10 lb braid. Any suggestions?

Yup, and LSU is an exception who schedules decently well OOC. Now maybe the next some of your brethren will actually travel to OOC games outside of the southeast That 2008 game sucked. We moved the ball up and down rather well, and then had brainfarts and mistakes at really bad times. You kicked our butts, but the game was closer than the score.

Good point... I forgot that part after all the, um, "shuffling"

Four. Which coincidentally is also the number of wins my team's conference had this weekend against your team's conference. Against zero losses. <insert excuse that the SEC East isn't as good as the west here> http://espn.go.com/blog/acc/post/_/id/77864/fact-acc-delivers-message-to-sec http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/11964070/the-sec-no-longer-claim-best-conference-college-football

Give me a break...as it stands right now, the SEC has a losing record to other P5 teams this season. Does this mean Indiana is the SEC East champ?

Bama Vs. Mississippi State
So Catt -- the only important factor is to play in the SEC? The results on the field are immaterial? Just as long as the opponent you're playing is also in the SEC, the result is as good as a win even if the other guy scores more points than you do? Let's please also not forget this one. Most importantly, you guys should hold your heads high that you lead the country one more very important statistical category. http://accfootballrx.blogspot.com/2014/11/arrest-rankings-2014-ytd.html#!/2014/11/arrest-rankings-2014-ytd.html

Bama Vs. Mississippi State
That's fine that you had a tough schedule, but you still need to win the games. For all you guys screaming that there is no SEC bias -- does it seem justified that a 0.500 team is getting AP votes?
