Ahhh, the 'ol Looser Cruiser. I'll be honest with ya ***looks over both shoulders*** I'd own another in a heartbeat. We bought a 2001 Caravan and we were very happy with it. Very roomy, comfortable and plenty of room for hunting, fishing, outdoors stuff and general crap. We owned it up to around 130K when she was ready for something else so we just bought a Subaru Forester...and that is one heck of a vehicle. As stated, it takes some mental adjustment but you will like it.

This is what I did when I went to Falcon. I'm left crank and the guide didn't have any...only right. Also, I wanted a specific line so I spooled up and brought my reels and put em on his rods.

I'm really surprised not more votes for PBJ. I fish the bejeeses outta that color. If water is relatively clear I use a matching trailer. For darker water I use a blue rage chunk.

Either Blk/Blue or PBJ. I could live on those colors alone.

^^^Not bad choices at all. Looks like a good buy on the reel which would allow you to get a better rod. Can you get to a Cabelas? The last step would be to put that exact reel on a rod and see how it feel in your hands.

These are our birches covered in ice. We just went through 3 days of freezing rain, power outages etc... All ok now though. It's surprising how these trees don't break and will take their natural shape one the ice melts.

I'd start by checking all connections first. Wiggle plugs, connections etc... If nothing there, is the system fused?
