  1. i will say 1in white grub 3/8 weight. i caught everything from catfish to bass to bluegill to monster crappie!
  2. its probably a couple hour drive. its right to the west of richmond in a place called short pump
  3. today went out and caught two bass over 4 and one 25-30" fish i think was a muskie or something in that family. but there is usually good fishing on the rocks with some worms or lizzards and what not. on average i catch three over 2 and then some nice dinks. nothing too big but its fun
  4. if you ever wanna come down to richmond area i would be willing to share a couple honey holes
  5. wilde lake is located in the colonies subdivision. if you are coming down lauderdale away from the mall and go about 5-6 traffic lights you come to an intersection where if you turn left its gayton if you turn right its causeway. you turn on causeway there and the lake is right there and has lots of fishing holes

  7. last year we rented a house straight across from mitchells point marina? nevertheless i was only able to catch a couple perch and brim. at the dam i landed a nice 3lb smallie. the coves are very nice up there i had a huge bust on a buzzbait in a secluded cove. not sure what it was but it busted it high out of the water. this year we got our house up by bridgewater marina so not sure what i going to do now with all the traffic ha

  9. where is the lake in goochland. i am in wellsley subdivision and fish wilde lake mostly but was wonering where this lake was
  10. anyone have any tips on how to fish smith mountain lake? i heading out there the second week of august for a whole week and was hoping to get some fishing in. any clue how the stripers are doing in the lake or what to catch them on?

  17. I went out last year and me and my old man rented a boat from anglers landing and caught a few but nothing to tell me to go back anytime soon. was it just a fluke or are there monsters hidden under the surface?

  25. ha well i must have lucked out being up higher than the public boat landing there off 95. we were one of maybe 6people shorebound but there were ridiculous amounts of kayaks mostly with a few jon boats. anyone hit the river this weekend?
