Whats your go to lure when all else fails?
Well as the topic states, I was interested in what everyone goes to when everything they seem to be throwing fails them. For me personally I would have to say a 1-2inch white grub on a 1/16 oz jig head. Seems to catch anything and everything.

White grubs are like dynamite for anything. Today my old man and I went up and caught a bowfin (6lbs) couple crappie one big shad bunch of bass and two grass carp (12lbs each roughly!) I cannot believe how much action is already happening with the winter we had. Gotta love the action in these local ponds. The pond itself is about 6acres but no deeper than 4ft in its deepest spot. Awesome fishing back in there

Richmond Area
Went out today with a buddy and were slaying the fish at a little pond. We started throwing a little two inch white grub (tail dipped in chartruese spike-it) and the bass were tearing them up. Caught about 40bass all together within 2hrs everything from 1/2lbs on up to a decent 6lber. Anyone in the Richmond area heading out tomorrow with this awesome weather?

Looking for some good sunglasses
I own a pair of costa triple tail green mirror 580lense and have not been let down. I use them for mostly lakes and rivers, but they also work good as a pair of glasses to wear around and do work in. They are comfortable and don't hurt even after several hours of wear.

Great to hear rooty is starting to produce. Water still cold, but I managed to pull out two little bass out of a neighborhood pond. Nothing big, but good to see they starting to come out.

fishing rod for catfish
I pulled out a 9lb cat out of my lake while fishing a 1in white grub on a 3ft mini ultralight built for brim. It makes for one heck of a fight. But if you going river fishing make sure you have some heavy gear. I fish the James and fish upwards of 90lbs are not unheard of. I myself have only landed a flathead of 30lbs 2oz. Whenever I go down there I use a 1oz weight with a circle hook with shad or bluegill on a 8ft surf rod. It does the trick!

how to do you orginize your plastics
I have seen many different techniques but that sounds awesome. I just store them in old shoe boxes sorted by type and when I head out I take out the colors I want for the day and conditions
