  1. Dwight, you're going to talk me into it
  2. Like Strike King Ocho's wacky rigged, 1/4 - 3/8 oz jigs (really just starting with these) I toss a lot of the wacky rig
  3. So let me ask you DC guys, Im planning on putting this on an NRX and using it for plastics and light jigs. Does the DC braking system benefit me in anyway for this style of fishing?
  4. Thanks Guys, I dont think I have a need for the DC, not for 140.00 more than just the regular Met. I'm quite happy with the current knobs, handles and SVS.
  5. Just wondering if anyone knows of any other differences other than the DC on the Metanium. I have a non DC JDM and want another. Im currently debating the DC vs non DC and cant find any differences other than that. Was curious if anyone knows of any other differences. Thanks!
  6. I have the stalker 10. Great little boat
  7. I can second the original poster on this. I just received mine, 7' Fat Mini Magic. No idea how it fishes but its absolutely beautiful, Well worth the 99.00, unless of course it snaps in half catching its first fish lol.
  8. I just read something about the cork filler. Maybe Im thinking about the wrong one? Just dont want a lot of cork filler, not that it makes a difference with performance but still.
  9. I cant seem to make up my mind on this. I keep doing research and really its not swaying me either way. I don't have a specific megabass in mind other than it wont be the orchi XX. Any input is greatly appreciated. Mostly going to drop shot and weightless with it. Thanks!
  10. I ran into this same issue last year. After some patience and practice I could do it just as easily as sidearm. Just keep at it, you will get it. The thing that really worked great for me was not overdoing it. With spinning gear you can whip the hell out of it overhand. Not so much, at least not for me with casting.
  11. SHIMANO ZODIAS ROD SERIES This company’s newest rod series offers casting and spinning rods in actions and lengths for accuracy, long distance or finesse, depending on your need. All the rod blanks feature Hi-Power X construction, eliminating blank twist for both better casting distance and accuracy. Plus, Fuji semi- micro stainless steel frame guides and CI4+ reel seats add to overall sensitivity and strength. The rods will retail from $189.99 to $199.99, depending on the model. http://www.bassmaster.com/slideshow/new-products-debuting-2015-classic
  12. I caught a couple 3-5 over last summer on mine, it was flawless.
  13. Ill be buying a Metanium on Friday
  14. Im heading out in my inflatable for the first time in about 45 minutes. Im sure it will not go smoothly
  15. I appreciate it but it wont fit. The rudder on the trolling motor is too long. My finder came with a mount, the transducer is just too long it hits the rudder if I move it more towards the prop its going to be like 1/2 from the prop. I am makeshifting a mount to hang on the transom. Thanks much though
  16. Im going to do something similar with PVC pipe and some broom holders mounted to the motor mount. I saw something similar on youtube and this should work for me.
  17. Thats kind of what I thought. I guess Ill have to figure something out. I have a motor mount not an actual transom (inflatable)
  18. Its tough to see in the pic but my transducer will only fit at somewhat of an offset angle due to the rudder on the motor. Its a Minn Kota Endura C2 30 On the base believe it or not I dont have room for the transducer (Elite-4 DSI), if I try and do it flat and level it interferes with the prop so the only option I have to mount it on the trolling motor is to slide it down a little by the rudder which makes it offset a little. Its hard to tell in the photo. Anyway, is this something that is OK? Thanks, CYP
  19. Who knew, I had a battery sitting around. Works perfect, just have to go find a charger for it.
  20. I have the Endura, I thought I would be able to mount the transducer to the trolling motor but no such luck, the rudder on the trolling motor takes up too much space
  21. Thanks, thats perfect.
  22. Is this something I can just hook to my trolling motor battery or do I need something separate? Space is limited so if separate is there something small I can use? Thanks, CYP
  23. Ha, really I havent had much of an issue with it as of yet anyway
  24. I can for the most part. I can fiddle with adjustments
