Recently purchased the Advanced GPS upgrade for my Terrova 2017 and newer. I gotta say, that was one of the simplest boat things I have ever done. Took maybe 15 minutes tops. No more regular i-pilot now. Excited to drift and follow contour lines as well as whatever other stuff it does. If you were looking at it but on the fence, do it. Its a really simple install. Plug and play.

Sorry to resurrect and old topic but I just purchased this blank for my first build and was wondering how many guides you used?

I dont have a garage and would like to dabble around making my own baits. I have a 12 by 20 room with windows at the far end, ceiling has a slope from say 7' to about 12' high. Also has a set of sliding patio doors. Would this room be sufficient to pour in? I keep reading all these scary facts about the plastic so Im a bit worried to invest the money if its not feasible. Hopefully I am just over thinking it. TIA!

Thanks for this thread. I recently bought a 99 Nitro with a 50lb motorguide that worked in 12 or 24 and is currently wired for 24. I bought a 24v Terrova and was going to just leave the wiring but now have just gone ahead and ordered all the wiring and fuse to upgrade when I install the new motor thanks to this thread.

I had a sea eagle stealth stalker 10. I loved it. Very durable, ran over hidden logs a couple of times with no issues.

90% of the lakes I fish and that are in my area are electric only. There are times I may want to take 4 people out on the lake so a small jon boat wont do I need something bigger like 16' or so. What size trolling motor would you bow mount on that to at least get decent thrust? Most likely Ill be going 1754 or 1648 in the Grizzly tracker model. Thanks!

Wow is all I could say when I unboxed the rod. Megabass Addermine. It weighs next to nothing. Not sure how Ill be able to use anything other than Megabass rods now. I am beyond impressed. Cant wait to fish it and once I do Im sure Ill need more.

Depends, there can be sketchy people there, from what I could tell mostly there to swim (not allowed). I fished there a ton last summer, never had an issue with anything or anyone.

Vineland here, I fish mostly Menantico. Heading out tomorrow afternoon, just bank fishing though. Only been out once which was a quick trip and no luck. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

I have a while ago, doesnt seem to be carried around me any longer. Small size 1/4-3/8 oz jigs, weightless wacky rigs (Ochos and Biospawn) mostly.

Thanks, Im leaning towards St. Croix Legend Xtreme Casting Rod 7'1" Med Hvy X Fa Any issues with this one for light jigs and weighless plastics and the occasional hollow belly frog?

Has anyone fished both? Im looking to get the most sensitive rod I can for Small Jigs and weightless worms just trying to weigh my options. I see everyone raving about the NRX just looking to see if there are maybe some options that are just as sensitive but a bit cheaper. Thanks CYP
