As I often bank fish a community lake.. I cast & hook up.. 3, 15 to 18 year old girls approach me and begin dialogue... 1st girl says " did you just catch that ?" Me. Uh, yes I did.. 2nd girl says " it that a real fish ?" Me. Uh, yes it is.. 3rd girl says " are those real hooks ?" Me. Uh, yes they are.. 1st girl says "can I touch it ?" Me. Sure She replys oh my god, GROSS.. As I release fish.. Girl #3 says " what did you turn it loose ?" Me. I always do.. Girl # 1 says " what's the point, then ?" I finally looked at them and said " I'm quite certain you would not understand".. Girl #1 says " yea, I guess I don't" They thanked me and wondered off giggling.. Young girls are silly...

In Indiana, you can forget that notion, it ain't likely to happen... It's Lawsuits, etc.. Other reasons too, Good luck to you though..

Well a hotspot can't be called a hotspot if it hasn't been exploited already.. I'm not convinced fish are educated by catch & release as it pertains to soft plastic worms & craws.. You can take a look at Doug Hannons logs and see that. Hard baits, more likely. I've put friends on fish & they couldn't buy a bite on a 7" straight tail worm.. Not all fisherman are created equal. ( no thrill to soft plastic, boring, or have trouble w strike detection) Are a few statements that come to mind.. As far as tipping your cards for others to see? That's a game spoiler...

Last bird was 29lb. 10&3/16" A guy shot a 34 pounder bird in my fave area. It's sooo much fun talking to these birds.. I've set out decoys and had deer walk up and inspect. Nudge them, almost begging for that poser to do something! Anything!...I love it! Congratulations to everyone on their Turkeys!!!

I'd echo this.. Bob Marshal wilderness! Ya gotta go at least once.. Been there a half dozen times for elk. There are Whitetails too! I'm not sure about a guide requirement now though .. In the times past you could put together a DIY.. Wisconsin has huge whitetails, Indiana transplanted many Wisconsin genetics here beginning in the 70's..maybe consider a pronghorn hunt in Dakota too! Of course there's Alberta & Saskatchewan, but no do it yourself there, and pricey too.. Giant whitetails though.. Good luck! I love big game hunting.
