Catfish On A Lipless Crank
^^ This! ^^ Around here, in the White or Ohio river if your not using large bluegill or redear ( 1 pound ) for flathead or blues, your wasting time.. They absolutely hunt living prey.. Most all giant cats are caught on big live bait presentations, at least around, lol.. Of course it's pretty important to know where these fish hunker down at then make your presentation..

This Fool The Child
No tree inside walmart, but a employee ensured me the green bananas came from a tree, although I cannot say... They also have green (red delicious) apples,. We ( guys in my squadron) knocked some coconut's out of a tree in Puerto Rico and drank the milk.. We soon were running for the John.. This was way before it was vogue to drink coconut milk to elicit a bowel movement.. That's all I got on fruits fellas!

Shew, sounds like a rather expensive bait ball recipe to me.. I will stick to red worms or crawlers.

What Is The Best $100 Rod?
Best $100 rod is a like new ( used ) $200 dollar one.. Or, models being closed out, steep discounts can be found then. I think the *** blank may be the best, but not the build quality or handle design. Consider customer service in your decision as well.

Catfish On A Lipless Crank
They sure do, it's not like there is a buffet of chicken livers, gizzards in the waterways.. In fact, at the local BPS aquarium I watched several Ohio river Blue and flatheads decimate around 50 blue gill in the course of about 10 days.. The fish in the tanks are fed quite well by the staff. Tell the catfish that! Lol..

I used to have that happen in the wintertime working on jets.. I used cornhuskers, it worked well for me. Hurts a bit when all your fingertips split..

Curado I Vs E - E Is Outperforming I. Is This Your Experience?
A little concern on the previous owner issue. Only because what did he do/not do.. Bearings? Idk.. I know the platform is solid, it's a excellent casting & retrieving reel.. How many brakes do you have set? ( internally )

Curado I Vs E - E Is Outperforming I. Is This Your Experience?
My "I" series reels cast as good if not better than the "e" reels that I sold. As far as break in, it's been my experience that most reels improve somewhat with use. Both are solid reels..

Shimano Spinning Reels
I know where your going with this.. Let me first say, I don't disagree with you on the point of "saltwater approved" issue, but I still have not seen any issues of freshwater fail rates on bearings due to corrosion.like I said, lots of metals corrode in a saltwater environment. Sounds like wrong tool, wrong enviroment.

Shimano Spinning Reels
Lots of metals corrode in a saltwater environment. As far as freshwater use, I've never lost a bearing as a result of corrosion failure. I would second the Plueger as a inexspensive option, not a very refined reel, not great on line management, but it's a solid option.

Scents Don't They Just Wash Off?
We aren't talking about hunting big game here ( whitetail, elk, moose, ) scent control IS vital when big game hunting.. As far as washing hands are concerned, ( as it apply's to a fish smelling ) Is far fetched IMO. A cooked in scent doesn't hurt, ( Garlic, Power bait ) a goo applied to a plastic bait like megastrike won't hurt.. How much does it really help? I cannot say, but I do quite well with scented & unscented baits. I loath the smell of elaztech plastic, however the fish couldn't care less...
