  1. Not if your happy with the snaps! As far as FC on the reel for years, a shelf queen, maybe? Can't say, that's never, ever the case with me.
  2. Congratulations on your giant fish trophy's! Those are both exceptional Fish! I know the line was Big Game, right? Lol...
  3. Yup, I remember a few things, Japanese cars became vogue in the 70's, why? Great cars, dependable, and long lasting. Nevermind great fuel mileage. America had a obligation after the unconditional surrender, we taught them a few things...
  4. There is a common theme... The great name of Shimano is the benchmark for all impostors to be compared to! If a 29.00 shimano spinning reel gets me thru a season of pan fishing, I'm ok with that, if I get longer service out of it, I'm more pleased.. Shimano's Mayla Factory is wholly owned by Shimano, it is turning out exceptional products with excellent quality control.
  5. Where's the lizard/ water dog rig? The bottom one looks really good to me... Call it the hole in one rig...
  6. Those jacks look like they are built for speed.. Kastmaster are sweet baits, done well with them in Puerto Rico as well as Tampa.. Hey that's a new phone you got! That's what happened...
  7. Wow! I'd have to have a custom made to facilitate a reel this light, sounds sweet to me..
  8. Yup, still wanna know if it's mag. Or ci4+ anyone found out for sure?
  9. They are a pretty heavy worm as well, no additional weight is needed really, I've noticed in rocky areas the nose can drop into cracks, while the tale just sorta waves in the current.. They tear about like the senko.. But the fish will kill them. I average 1 fish per Kut- Tale.. Trim them back after a fish, oftentimes you have a short version to use later if you desire. That is, if you get them back..
  10. I have used it in #8 & #14. Yes it does, (break)it's a easy handling line, but just a bit to frail for my likes.
  11. 7" plastic worm, Tubes, crawfish, jigs, I knew a guy who use to pitch spinnerbaits and did pretty well...
  12. Silverthread is a great line so is triple fish camo or maxima... Been using these lines a long time & some lines can have more than others, (memory) but it's not a major issue for me.. Lots of guys swear by braid on their spinning, I don't ..
  13. Yozuri is pretty tame at 6 & 4.. Give it a whirl, if you don't like it, CXX is pretty tame, CX even more so...
  14. Texas Rigged 7" Plastic worm.. No doubt! Indiana 7 llb is the best I've done.. Florida is a different story, lol...
  15. Sure, I don't see a problem here. You have enough to fully spool it right?
  16. That link worked, man what a record fish, on a Tennesee rig, lol, zoom superflukes, baitfish color on the outside and white ice on the inside. Exceptional!!
  17. I saw that as well at bps of all places, same 2.99 for 10 yum Dingers , I thought they were on close out , but they didn't say f2 so I guess it's the new stuff..
  18. Go punch it out , cause it's pretty popular on this forum...
