  1. LOL, hey line doesn't stay on my reels long enough to develop memory.. I change out..Alot! To each fisher their own, right? Right!
  2. Geez, the A-Rig strikes again.. Maybe I need to revisit this contraption..
  3. Did you handle a spinning or baitcast rod?How was balance, guides, etc?
  4. Thanks 00 mod! That's a huge fish!
  5. Pitching & Flipping w 7" Plastic worm in heavy to sparse hydrilla and Lilly pads... Ranks very high for me. #2 Probably a tube, in Rocky/ Hard bottom areas.. Hard to beat a good tube bite..
  6. What did it weigh? I've tried the link twice but it's not loading for me...
  7. Yea, well those MIT, folks were smart enough in Vegas a few years ago... Then it went bad for them, yikes...
  8. I kinda wonder if a 50 size in ci4+ isn't possible? Ci4+ is trending you know, lol..
  9. If your able, and know what rivets need replaced, and if you have or can get the tools, replace the rivets.. It's not hard.. Maybe a boat dealership could assist. That's the route I would go.
  10. No no no no.. Mono is not overlooked by everyone, between it and hybrid, copolys, I have about 50,000 yds of it, 1000 of FC, 100 yds of braid... I like it just fine thank you very much!
  11. I like owner hooks with cps, designed by Gary Yamamoto from 2/0 to 6/0. Some of those are slightly weighted for (rage rigging) I also like owner mosquito hooks in 3/0 for my wacky rigs, A round bend offset hook by Gamakatsu or Owner as well. Size depends on a few factors, as well as personal preference and line type, gear selection & cover..
  12. Ronco pocket fisherman... Seriously, a 3 piece rod would be the ticket, a smallish spinning reel..
  13. I don't care for Dobyns or Powell rods at all... Plenty of guys do, just not my style
  14. You could throw treble hook baits with it, cranks etc.. Live/dead bait presentations, make it a go fast rod for car use..you can find a use for it. # 8 is a startling point on line.. Should be line and lure ratings on that stix somewhere...
  15. I'm a fan of these as well, I use them on a rage rig Big fan of owner cps..
  16. Price sure did go up... @ 200 I guess custom is looking better all the time..
  17. There are a few reasons a backlash can occur quite frankly, however, how many brakes do you have set? What rod are you using? What line type? Finally, is baitcasting new for you? I only ask due to the possible chance there may be other issues involved...
  18. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oLprAUar11U Dwight Yokham A thousand miles from nowhere http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KGoBQIhyFFM John Anderson Seminole wind
  19. I'm not sure on the whole 30 day thing, in the past almost all retail outlets would handle a 30 day issue with a rod... Who knows, maybe that's changing, seems like everything else is too.
  20. http://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/largemouth-seasonal-habits.html Here ya go...
  21. If you fish with cranks or hard jerk baits long enough, it's going to happen.. Google this, there are plenty of videos that will show methods of, on the boat/ bank removal techniques, and I would suggest learning how to remove hooks from yourself or partner. Don't be afraid, just be aware of it.. Good question..
  22. Do you recall which exact rod you got to see, touch, feel?
