  1. This is a solid choice, I've talked to a dealer that has handled these, "used them" says they are "Stellar" at the price point!
  2. Koppers makes a blueback herring jointed swimbait @ 1oz.. Any chromed blue back rattletrap/ crankbait should emulate those fairly closely..
  3. Yea, he did catch big fish today, as far as his rod troubles, it's a new rod line, or company.. I can kinda see where that could happen. I wish him all the best, with my condolences.
  4. Wow! This tournament is tight! Howell catches one ounce more today than yesterday, Ike on he's jig bite! Takahiro. Not sure what his fish are coming on, squarebill? It's going to be a nail biter tomorrow...great tournament.. Rojas does half as good, as day one. I think Rojas is depleted, lol Kermit the frog is history!!
  5. Paul Elias from Miss. The ole kneel & reel inventor, lol
  6. Sporting card? Lol, ok, Bass Boats approaching One Hundred Grand, Electronics on board at 10 grand, GPS, the "Best" lakes for LMB in the world, arguably the "Best" fisherman in the world, incidentally these lakes Already have massive amounts of structure, cover, baitfish, and I dare say " Real Brush piles" either previously planted aka, "Christmas trees" or now as common " PVC" Rubber, or perhaps i should just refer to them as synthetic. Apparently the fisherman with all of this at his disposal, feels the need to drop those plastic pieces in the lake? But, it's "Legal" so there ya go...whatever it is, I don't see it as "Sporting"..
  7. Wheeler is a great fisherman from Indiana, lol..
  8. I often used #6 of various line makers ( mono & copoly) on my TDX, and my Sol BC reels, I had no problems whatsoever.
  9. This sounds like a most incredible deal to me. Congrats on that one!
  10. If it's not an advantage, then why do it? Clearly, Casey is seeking an advantage here. Yes, it's legal, is it sporting? Nope.. No way... Not in my opinion. Just because a thing is legal, doesn't necessarily justify its exploitation. I just maintain a different outlook that's all. I still believe I'm right. One more point, clearly it's a spectator sport, it's a sport driven by the everyday or weekend fisherman , not the other way around.
  11. Key word here.."almost" lol...
  12. Oh I understand the Capitalism. I just wonder about aspects of decisions such as these. A recent one comes to mind.. Banning the "A-Rig" If it's not about sporting, but rather about money, Then why ban it? That's my only point here, I think if Ike were to land on those brush piles, it might get really exciting, really quickly, despite the frigid air!
  13. Wow! Great stuff, thank you... They are catching them a bit better than I thought! Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!
  14. Uh, yes I know, however it's not working for me, Hence, why I asked who's catching what? With so many remarks on everyone watching, someone is bound to have a "feel" for day 1...
  15. It's not working for me... So, who's catching what?
  16. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1E_WfihgCXo Here's a link.. Yes it looks completely awesome!
  17. While it might be legal, in my opinion, it's just not sporting, at all...
  18. It's being run by new ownership, so to speak.. Sounds like at least so far, most folks are enjoying it!
  19. Well it will either work... Or it won't , time will tell. Wonder when they were dropped?
  20. Zona's on the Water? Geez, it's really getting desperate!
  21. Nope, can't get it to run here! Oh well, I will depend on my compadres here on BR to keep me up to snuff!!
  22. I'm entered! Yay!! Great contest! Thank you, BassResource!!
  23. If it's 25% smaller in diameter than past braid, and 25% stronger, what's not to like? Seems like a nice improvement
  24. What about last year? It's my understanding all the lakes (Great) were frozen solid... Is this year worse?
