A buddy of mine fished this morning for about 4 hours he caught 3 bass the biggest one about 3lbs and 3 pike over 22 inches all in about 600 yards/an hour and a half time period and the bite turned off like someone flipped a switch. Got to love Lake Chesdin

I put in at the public boat ramp Make sure you put your head on a swivel and be safe out there the weather is going to be great and it's a holiday weekend so the crazies will be out in full force.

Fished for about 4 hours this afternoon caught 4 small ones biggest one 2.2 lbs water temperature 83° water clarity was 3 to 4 foot at the lower end close to the dam started staining up past Whippernock but still pretty good.

I have a short day tomorrow so I'm going to give it a try for a few hours. I'll give an update on how I do. If anyone has the time I have an open seat.

My wife of 34 years in September and I fish at least once a week if the weather permits, she is a bit of a fair weather fisher.

CJ (the guy that works for me) and I went out for 4 hours this afternoon we caught 6 bass only 3 scorable the biggest was 2lbs. Water temperature was 88° the clarity was 2 to 3 foot

My wife is a information junkie on all the benefits and risk of any procedure that we ever have done so I'm sure she's going to have me on a very short leash. My doctor has already told me that I could feel like I'm back to normal long before I actually am so when I think I can do something that I would normally do DON'T. He knows that I'm in construction so he said my down time may be a little longer for me.

Brief update, after CT and bone scan it seems to be isolated in the prostate as far as they can tell at this time. Next step is surgery on 9/5, that is going to suck but if they can get it all at onetime I'm all in. Its still going to be a life changing thing but it sounds like I'm going to have a life to change. ?

I wish you would have called I spent the day cleaning up the old fishing pontoon boat to get it ready to sale. It would given me a reason to head to the lake. The wife and I did go fishing the previous Sunday for about six hours and I didn't get a bite on anything I tried. The caught a few bream after she got tired of not getting a bass bite.

The young man that works for me and I fished Lake Chesdin today for about 7 hours and had a solid day. We caught a total of 15 bass the best 5 = 12.7 lbs and these two made up 7.3 lbs of it. I thing I have this young man hooked on bass fishing. Earlier this season he landed his PB 5.9lber and today he put 9 bass in the boat.

I don't know about learning our fishing schedule but I'm convinced them don't read the same magazines articles and watch the same videos we do.

Not a good day the wind was blowing pretty bad it made very hard to find the grass edge and almost impossible to stay on it to fish. But then again I've never fish grass like that before so in perfect conditions it still be a learning curve. We did get on a good bream bite mid afternoon and being that bream is the wife's favorite fish to eat we salvaged the day.

The wife and I are going to the Chickahominy Lake Wednesday we have never fish the lake before we will be targeting bass, crappie and bream. So we are looking for a little advice Thanks

Yes I read an article yesterday where they're trying to change what they consider a high PSA level because of cases like yours.

I want to thank everyone for the well wishes. I will keep the updates coming good or bad if nothing else for information purposes. The more it gets talked about hopefully it will inspire others to stay on top of there check ups.

Yes Friday was biopsy results day. The next step is CT and bone scan to see if it has spread to my lymph nodes and bones.

Has hundreds of people daily and probably alot of people on here I got my diagnosis Friday at the age of 51 that was not the news the wife and I was expecting Friday morning. We don't know the severity of it yet we have more testing to do in the next week or two so we can come up with a battle plan. So I guess it's my turn to take on the Big "C" I don't know what to expect in the near future but my family and I are ready to fight. There was no warning signs at all, PSA levels were not elevated just a routine prostate exam from my doctor. The reason for this post is to say "guys don't put off recommended exams" Hopefully my early diagnosis will make the difference.
