Florida Guys Check In Here.
Hate to say it but ive had to many big ones get away. Im positive ive hooked (or lack of hooked) into 10+ lb monsters. The fight usually lasts all the way upto the shore and then they get off. What a horrible feeling to look at these fish and then in a flash their gone. Every bass fishing man knows it, lunkers just have that look. Eyes wide apart, the fight is more intense then your regular fish, and minutes feel like hours while reeling it in. The adrenaline starts going and you know this is the catch you been waiting for.... All for nothing? Nah. Its that moment you live for. It will come again.

Florida Guys Check In Here.
I've used spider wire before. I was tossing into heavy cover today and even sent the skitter walk into some twigs/Lilly pads. The invisibraid actually impressed me. Sawed through a branch and pulled the pad up in the same retrieve. Wasn't looking to lose my new lure but gave me quite a bit of confidence In its strength. To be honest I don't like braid much I've heard good stuff about power pro but I decided to give spider wire a chance again pretty happy I did.

Florida Guys Check In Here.
I like them. Second one looks like a fatty. I went out for a few hours today after visiting bass pro. Picked up a Penn fierce, spider wire invisible braid (15lbs), rapala skitter walk and a devils horse. No hits on the skitter walk and tons of boils on the devils horse. Zero catches though. The big girls were there but not biting what I was throwing.

Where To Go In Orlando
They exist but rather rare. This topics come up quite a bit. Depends on how willing you are to find a lake. Can't fish in/near the airport but there is to many to count in Orlando. Lake Underhill and Lake Ivanhoe are good for shore fishing... And all around the area you can find spots check out google maps to scout out locations

What Is The One Thing You Absolutely Hate About Fishing?
I have Zero Dislikes. Even if I die fishing, I will die a happy man.

How Close Is Too Close?
Frankly I'm impressed he was trying to fish under your boat. You ever have that fish on a retrieve come from underneath the boat and attack just as your pulling up? They are there sometimes hanging in the shade. Maybe he figured he would talk while he tried to find one under you? Probably the biggest thing though is because he was in a kayak. Its way different then being on other boats. You frequently come close to other kayakers and have a little conversation if you want. Then head off in different directions. Personally I wouldt care, Ive seen bass stick around in areas with engines roaring tearing up the bottom and sending mud in every direction. Big ones too. Hell sometimes bait fish go into stirred up bottoms to eat whatever you just kicked up and bass are not far behind.

How Do You Eat Your Bass?
Buried in salt, wrapped in tin foil, and cooked over open wood flame. How this is done exactly? Not sure my grandmother did it and I never asked how. Simply put though the best way I've ever eaten LMB. Came out sweet and not a bit fishy. (probably similare to how salmon can be cooked)

Accidental Catches
oh if we start talking about randomness I got plenty of that since I use to fish bottom religiously.... Car Tires, Bikes, Boots, Shoes, license plates, rods and reels, christmas trees, rims, speakers, chairs, condoms.... the crap in the bottom of some lakes/rivers/ocean gets rediculous sometimes.

Done With Bass Pro Shop
I can say I haven't been overly impressed in bass pro shops, I have drawn up my own business plans for a bait and tackle shop chain but refuse to go in debt to get it launched. At some point in my life I will open it up. If it lasts, good, if not I won't be bankrupt atleast. Most of the issues everyone here has is the same issues I've had. It's what has driven me to start taking my ideas more serious. Lots of tackle shops come and go which is going to be the biggest obstacle to overcome first.

Where Are The Fish?
Heavy Heavy Heavy Cover is all I can say. 0-3ft deep. That has been where I have been finding them in East lake, West Lake Toho, and Fells Cove.

Lake Toho
Unfortunitly I have to work this sunday but man it would be fun to rent a party (pontoon) boat and run around with some Bass Resource guys on Toho. If I this weather pattern continues. I would try fishing the patches of grass / lillies on the north side of the lake. There should be some good lunkers in there. Try punching through the heavy stuff or running soft creature baits on and around them. Be ready to find monsters. Could also try near the middle of the lake where the islands are. Definitly find the grass beds and shell beds. They always seem to have big bass in them as well. It is a heavily fished lake though, so the pressure on this fish can be pretty high. Might pay off to venture into areas where there is less traffic.
