  1. Sorry but anyone that can use this sentence and mean it is doing it wrong.

Scum Frog Trophy Series. Natural Black/Green. Learn it....know it....live it. You're welcome
  3. cut just a couple of years off this and this is my story. Cane pole..Johnson Century (still got, btw). Didn't fish for a long time due to starting family, etc. Started back up around 2002 or so.
  4. I would be hard pressed to find a better beginner combo than a Bass Pro PQ on a 6'6" to 7' M/H Extreme Rod. Lightest or most refined combo you'll ever use? Nope...not even close but it's a workhorse or a combo and one I still use every time I go out
  5. Lol.........that helps! Thanks!
  6. My dumbest lost lure? Tying on a new custom made hair jig. Just got it .......had never cast it.......cut the tag end off and drop it over the side. See where this is going? Yep.......cut the main line. *Bloop* I was sad
  7. Had a spinner bait I put up in a tree up in Minnesota. Nothing really special about other than it had "the mojo" Caught a ton of fish with it. I pay my respects every couple of years when I go up there. Still hanging there.
  8. 95% of the time, I'm using a Gammy 3/0 Offset shank EWG worm hook. Perfect size for most of the baits I use (Senko's, Tubes, etc)
  9. You are seriously diggin those Pfluegar's ain't you!
  10. This very thing is what got me going on Bass fishing, Used to be a "Zebco with a bobber and nightcrawler" kinda guy until the day I found....FOUND...a Mepps Comet Minno lying on the ground. I tied it (poorly) on my trusty 20 dollar rig and threw it out and started reeling it in. I had no idea how I would even know I had a fish because I couldn't see anything. KA-WHAM!!!! I'm guessing that bass was maybe 1.5 lbs but it hooked me for life. I don't throw the Minno very often now but I ALWAYS have one on me. In fact, I think I'll give it a toss tomorrow. Best time of year to throw one. I also loved those little Snap Beans. Love to find some more of them
  11. It didn't.....*sigh*
  12. I use Bubblegum Senkos all the time. One of my go to's. I don't care if the bait looks like the Village People...if it catches bass, I'm using it
  13. Yeah......that's what NOWEMO is. North West Missouri
  14. I was doing very poorly until I did almost the exact opposite of what everyone is saying here...lol. Temps haven't really fallen too much here in NOWEMO (it's 80 right now) but I was fishing like they had. Then I tied on some Rat-L-Traps and used a fall-rip-fall yoyo retrieve. Pretty fast and violent. Worked like a champ. Gonna try it again tomorrow......might not work at all LOL
  15. My very simple answer is this. Can you or would you LIKE to put a boat on it? If you can adequately fish it from the bank.....pond. If a boat would get you to some of the better spots? Lake
  16. I fished for 2.5 hours last Sunday with nada. No fish..no bite.....and then I tied on a Royal Shad CC Super Spot and started a rip..fall...rip retrieve. YEEHAW!!!! I think I lost somewhere around 4-5 Spots and Traps that day but I had a 50 Cabelas Gift card in my wallet and the fish were slamming them so I threw into anything
  17. I really want one of these. http://japantackle.com/daiwa-morethan-pesv-2014.html
  18. Is this thread even written in English? I just don't understand it
  19. I'm guessing this would be the answer that MOST of us would give. Just buy them all and be done with it. You know you want to!
  20. Some people just have the Mojo. Couple that with good skills and you got a future pro. Rock on, young man.
  21. I'm a hand switcher on everything. Cast right handed......reel right handed. Cannot walk the dog or impart any real action with my right hand. Gotta be reeling with it while twitching with my left. Hand get's switched midcast automatically.....don't even think about it. Can't think of a time when I lost a fish due to switching hands. In other words...do what is comfortable to you.
  22. Right now when I'm working on the wife's car on a beautiful fall day and I know the big girls are bitin!
  23. Don't matter. Still can't mess with my stuff
