  1. I'm looking at auto inflatable life vests,Does anyone hear use this model to give me some feedback.I looked at it on basspro and it had good reviews. The price is $200 but if it saves my life bu being comfortable enough to wear all the time I guess it'll be worth it.

  4. tube rebel teeny wee crawdad chartreuse spinnebait Zoom fin-s fish grub on 1/4 oz. round jig head(bluegill, white, pumpkinseed colors) black or olive wooly bugger(flyrod)
  5. I have a spot on one lake that will normally give up fish.I mostly see everyone else fish right on by it.I caught 2 fish in 2 casts there one time so I slowed down and fished it a litttle more, now even on a slow day it's good for at least breaking the skunk. As for secret it doesn't have the qualityof fish that your spot does so I really wouldn't be too upset if somebody found it.
  6. I voted for soft plastics. You can get a bigger variety and more bang for your buck(20 in this case)You can flip a trigged plastic the same as a jig.But really in the end it's up to what works for you.Buy what you have confidence in or something you'd like to get confidence if you're well stocked on your confidence baits.
  7. Merry Easter! Happy B-day!
  8. I just cleaned up a bunch of cranks with rusty hooks and rings with a product called Evapo-rust.It removes the rust in about an hour.If the hook is just surface rust you'll usually have a good sharp hook when it's done.If it rusted thru...well you know.
  9. Please Release me worked good for me so I never bothered to try the rejuvenade so I can't speak for it.
  10. Eagle lake is a public fishing reclaimed phosphate pit that is literally within a mile of Bienville. Also there is Lang lake about 10 miles from Bienville all are pretty good fishing.Lang has big bass regulations in effect as well.
  11. Nice Vid.I like the hook removal technique displayed there, lol. My luck the camera man would have had to pull that crank outta my lips. ;D
  12. Good Job! I will be happy to break the 5 lb mark this year, lol.

Don't know if they still make them but the mustad shaw grigsby HP hook worked pretty good the last time I fished a smaller tube.
  14. I picked the shimano because that is the one I'm familiar with.I'm sure any one of them would do just as well though.
  15. beef jerky and water..............but I usually get so engrossed in my fishing that I ravenously devour the jerky on the way home.

I don't think you have to worry not only are most 12 year olds nowadays not worrying about watching bass fishing shows, they don't hav etime from their video games to drive.I think it was cool to show a little father son bonding. But you're right some one will probably sue them cause their 10 year old ran over someone pulling the boat out."He saw it on Versus!"
  17. I prefer the terminator with an oklahoma blade and a small colorado in waters with that visibility. In very clear water I usually don't throw a sb but if I do I use a willowleaf and small colorado model.
  18. Try a carolina rig with a floating worm.Give yourself enough leader between the weight and the swivel to keep the worm just above the moss as you call it.
  19. Good job! ;D Is that him in your avatar?
  20. c-rig,jig,and rattletraps with a side of hard jerkbaits >
  21. what are some of your favorite plastics to punch down thru hydrilla mats etc.?
  22. The predator species may relocate a smaller bass or group of bass but I would think a 5 lb bass could stay wherever he wants.
  23. Honestly I have one of each.A minn kota foot control on my jonboat and a motorguide on my bass tracker.I like them both about equally as well.
  24. Don't have a clue. Did your dad ever catch anything on it?
  25. Anybody throw a fish dr.?What trigging and techniques are good?
