Who mainly uses the same lures every time they fish? - I'm down to the same 4 lures
Meant usually. lol. But yes, the fish move into deeper and you have to be follow them and be have the skills to catch them that way. Which the OP isn't about.

Same issue.....I own plenty of baits and definitely am not planning on buying any more baits for a long time. I just keep using the ones that work. I need to try other baits, baits that work in areas that I normally don't fish.

Trailer Dolly????
I thought about a dolly too but read a lot of reviews saying they were weak and broke or didn't work on larger boats. A 21' foot boat is a big boat. I'm not sure a non-electric dolly would work well for you. Maybe a motorized dolly would work for you.

Well, fortunately I've usually done well with this sort of configuration. However, I would like to expand my skills to deeper fishing.

Who has the best Buzz bait???
Weird. Between my friends and I we've bought a ton of Cavitrons and never had any issues. If you contact the guy who sells them he'll probably help you out. He was really helpful to me when I had a problem. Also, try a Whopper Plopper and stop using buzzbaits all together.

Thats actually a really good idea. If you're trying a new bait at the wrong time you may get disappointed with it and stop using it.

Not a bad way to do it. I need to up my game and expand my skills so that on hard days I can still catch fish.

Firstly I'll state that I'm not a well-rounded or great fisherman. I'm a shallow and dock oriented fishing person. I don't do well in medium to deep water water. I wish I was better at it. However I also love topwater more than anything so I'm willing to sacrifice some bites to get topwater bites. I used to use buzzbaits, a KVD Sexydawg, Ragetail Toads, and Senkos as my primary lures. I've updated those choices but it's basically the same things, two topwaters and two underwater baits. For topwater it's one hardbait and one frog, now being a Whopper Plopper 110 (no longer need the buzzbaits or KVD Sexydawg since the WP can do the job of both) and for the frog I've switched to Teckel Sprinker Frogs. For my two underwater lures, a Wacky Rigged Senko and nosehooked Zoom Super Fluke. I'll also throw a spinnerbait or Rapala style lure if none of those is working. But that's really it. I'm down to 4 lures had I use almost exclusively. A Whopper Plopper, Teckel Sprinker Frog, Senko, and Zoom Super Fluke. Next year I plan on using some other deep water lures to expand my repertoire but for now I'm fairly successful using just these 4 lures. I did try Chatterbaits this year and swim jigs a few years ago. I know some guys use different lures almost every time they go out. Who else mainly uses the same lures every time they fish?

Advice on a good follow up...
Same. Weightless Wacky Rigged Senko or Fluke.

I like Zoom Super Flukes and Senkos for that.

How did you splice the two chargers into 1 plug?

another wacky rig trick
How many fish does that usually last?

Our retirement boat II
Yeah, having 3 separate chargers that you need to connect each time to charge would suck! If you have have 3 batteries and a 3 bank charger you just connect 1 plug in and done. If I was you and could afford a Dual Pro that's what I'd get. If not, Minn Kota. My next boat will have a Dual Pro for sure. I had like a 3 year old battery size 31 and a size 27 two year old battery on my old boat when I got it and that charger charged those two for over 6 years. I think the Dual Pro had a lot to do with their longetivity.

The latest sale thread
Actually I don't know. They have so many options and not a good description of what the differences are. I'm almost 100% I didn't get molle straps bc I wouldn't need them. This is what I got: https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Mustang_Elite_Inflatable_PFD/descpage-MEI.html?from=basres

Our retirement boat II
Just watched this video on the new Terrova with lift-assist. Either you have to bend over, unlock it and then lower it or use your foot to unlock while lifting. Same for stowing. It takes a bit of dexterity and flexibility. If this is your last boat, I'd definitely say spend a little more and get the Ulterra, your back will thank you in the long run. I used a loan to get my first boat and after I got the loan I modified it to raise the amount and got my first TM, a Terrova. Worth every penny.

I definitely agree with 3 batteries and a 3 bank charger. I have 3 batteries and a 2 bank charger, the previous owner skimped on the charger and my runs weren't long enough for the alternator to charge the big motor. I found out when my big motor wouldn't start and I had to take an hour long boat ride back to the launch using the trolling motor. So, I had to buy a separate charger/maintainer for the big motor. What a PITA! Dual Pro imho are perhaps one of the best chargers but they are expensive. I'd get a Minn Kota and buy it from Cabelas. I've never had problems with mine but my friend went through 2 and Cabelas just exchanged them rather than him having to send them in for repair. If you are using your TM 90% of the time spend the money on a 24v Ulterra or Terrova.

Whopper Plopper 110
I almost exclusively use the 110. I think it's the perfect size. The 90 is too small, doesn't cast as far, and rides a little different. The 130 is too big and tires you out, feels like you're throwing a musky lure. I like Monkeybutt the most followed by Bone and Loon colors. I should say I use the 90 when there are weeds just below the surface that foul the 110.

Who has the best Buzz bait???
Cavitrons are my my favorite followed by Booyahs. ....however, I've stopped using buzzbaits and use Whopper Ploppers now in size 90 and 110, almost always 110. If there are any weeds I use the weedless Whopper Plopper, the Teckel Sprinker Frog.

Our retirement boat II
I am very short and didn't have a pedal pan/tray that allows the pedal to be flush with the deck with my cable steer, because of this, my foot was always really high putting my leg at an angle all day and at the end of the day my leg ached. I got a new boat with a pedal tray and still had the same problem, cable steer pedals are just too hard for me to use. I use the two toe directionals on the Ulterras/Terrovas and love them! I never use the footpad. Something to think about if your older and don't' want to wear out our leg or be off-balance using the pedal.

Yep. Keep it in mind. I forgot the new Terrova's have lift assist, my old one didn't.

I wouldn't get the Terrova. If you are getting up in age and already have health issues you'll appreciate the auto stow/deploy of the Ulterra. The Terrova can be a hard on your back after a day of stowing and deploying. I bought the Ulterra to replace my Terrova from Tackle Warehouse with a gift certificate at 10% off and then got 15% off for Memorial Day and another 10% for being a Veteran so my Ulterra was 35% off with free shipping. Black Friday should have some good sales.

Is acid not supposed to spill out of a battery when it tips over?
Happened after. Cleaned acid up and fished for 2 days about 4-5 hours each and no problem. Will probably end up getting new batteries next year. I just want to know if these batteries weren't supposed to leak even when tipped over.

Is acid not supposed to spill out of a battery when it tips over?
I had 2 wet cell Marine Deep Cycle batteries (the kind where you can add water) tip over and a little battery acid leaked out. A guy said that that's not normal. I said doesn't acid always leak out when a battery tips? I'm mean they have caps that can be removed to add water so they aren't sealed. He said no. He said they shouldn't leak when tipped over. He said if it does something is wrong. So, is he right?
