I know the Minn Kota Fortrex is cable driven and I think the Terrova is electrical. I could be wrong there. Either way, why can't they add Terrova features to the Fortrex like Spotlock and Auto Pilot?

What color for clear water?

You get what you pay for. The service will reflect the pay. If those places paid more they may get employees who care more and are more knowledgable. When you pay someone low wages you get low wage work. Of course you can get lucky and get someone who is knowledgable and cares in that line of work and pay. It's just rarer.

A recent thread on fluke colors got me thinking. One poster stated he only uses two colors, watermelon and smoking shad. I was wondering if he is using watermelon and it's not working if he switches to smoking shad or if he changes entire lures and goes to say a jig. So, when do you change out lures vs. just changing the color of the lure that you are currently using?

I always put Stabil Marine and Seafoam in my gas tank when I fill up. That way if something happens to me and my boat has to be stored the gas is already taken care of.

But you use a fluro leader that you can replace, right?

I figure most people on here using braid if planning on coming in contact with a lot of abrasion causing surfaces would have a fluro leader, no?
