Which Would You Choose?
I got a 2 bags of Yum Dingers to try. I wasn't impressed with them so far. Didn't get a bite. Went back to and got 2. I use the Senkos with tubing now and 1 Senko usually last numerous trips.

Weedless Hooks Worse At Avoiding Weeds Then Regular Hooks?
Yeah, for me T-Rig has always been less weed prone but also far less productive.

Weedless Hooks Worse At Avoiding Weeds Then Regular Hooks?
So when I fish Senkos I normally use Gamakatsu 1/0 Offset Shank Worm EWG hooks. About every 4th cast I have some weeds on the hook (I am using 3/8" tubing to attach the Senko to the hook). Well, these weeds are almost always able to be shook off with just a few jiggles of the rod. I always fish Senkos wacky style. Well, I thought, how about I try some weedless hooks for once to see if it works better. So I picked up a pack of Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky hooks and attached the Senko once again with the 3/8" tubing. Well, this way caught even more weeds and I had to hand pick them off almost everytime. What's going on here?

Kissing Bass?
I am pretty sure I saw an episode of Jimmy Houston outdoors and he said it was bad to kiss them because you can get sick.

Thinking About A New Spinning Reel
It's more than $100 but I think you could get a Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 1000 size for like $160. They are incredible. I was never a big reel guy but I won't buy any other spinning reel that isn't a Ci4+ now. I returned a new Shimano FJ to get another Ci4+.

It's Always The Bait You Don't Have!
So I recently ordered some Big Bite Bait Fighting Frogs and Zoom Fat Albert Grubs to fish with. I'd read good things about them. I wasn't going to buy anything else. Then I read about Wake Baits and thought they maybe the perfect solution to a problem I have with my heavy KVD Sexy Dawg and KVD Splash, which is that even if thrown in water that has weeds a foot under the bottom they normally sink that far on splashdown and get weeds caught up on the hooks and thus don't retrieve properly. So I figured the Wake Baits would land shallower and retrieve well over the weeds. I ended up getting a Biovex Amp, Rapala Waking Minnow, and Arashi Wake Bait. I figured I was finally done buying baits for the year. Then I needed to order a few extra things to reach the $50 limit for shipping from Tacke Warehouse and I ordered 2 Ish Phat Frogs. I forgot to order 2 bags of Zoom Super Hogs which I had remembered reading about. They and the Zoom Fat Alberts, and Big Bite Baits Fighting Frog aren't carried by most local stores. Now I'm on the search for Zoom Super Hogs which are hard to come buy without paying shipping. Dicks, Walmart, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, and Joes Sporting Goods do not carry them. But that's the deal, even though I have baits I haven't even used yet there are still those new baits that I've never tried that I still want to buy. Ahhhhh........it never ends! lol.

How Do I Access This?
I need to be able to open the hole where the depthfinder wires go in to pull these old ones out and put the new ones in. However, all I see is these two tan knobs. I know they are the heads of screws on some of the boats screws and when you turn those they loosen and tighten the screw, but when I turn these ones they just keep turning and turning. I'm not sure that they are the heads of screws or just covers. This is a 2000 Crestliner Fishhawk. Are they supposed to pop off? I don't want to pop them off and break them if they aren't.

You fish them all the time like that or a specific one, like mostly weightless-t-rigged?

How do you guys fish them, t-rigged, weightless t-rigged, Carolina rigged, rage rigged, as a jig trailer?

Who's Got A New Boat?
I saw the thread on fishing boats. I was wondering how many people have new boats or relatively new boats and why you made the choice of boat you made vs. other boats. Pics if you got them.

Zoom Super Hog
Why do you think they perform better than the baby brush hogs?

Labor Day Sale!
I really didn't want to buy anything else this year but I remembered that my brother and I just got 2 new reels and needed line. We will each have to buy a new rod which will need new rod cases. I also needed to reach $50 to get free shipping at Tackle Warehouse. So I ordered 300 yards of Sufix 832 hi-vis yellow braid, 2 rod covers, and 2 Ish frogs for a total of $50.53. Can't get much closer than that.
