  1. You're right. I tried it and it goes in and out fine without the collar. The collar makes it too tight. Could I just and down the plastic collar?
  2. This may seem like a funny question but this is a frustrating issue. I've tried X-Acto knife, sharp knives, filet knives, box cutters, bending back and forth. All sharp and usually it doesn't end well. It's hard to get a nice, clean, trimmed tackle box divider. How do you cleanly trim tackle box compartment dividers?
  3. If you are flipping and pitching and have a reel with centrifugal braking should you have only 1 brake on and if you have magnetic braking should it be on the lowest setting (usually 1)?
  4. Won't the dap work? I couldn't find 3M 5200.
  5. I'm loving a KVD Sexy Dawg topwater bait this year I'd trade 10 regular bites for 1 topwater bite.
  6. Do you guys use only 1 brake or are you just saying it's ok?
  7. I always thought you wanted even number of centrifugal brakes on for balance, but I guess that was wrong. I was wondering if it is ok to have just 1 centrifugal brake on and if so, does anyone here only use 1 centrifugal brake on their reels?
  8. It definitely could be this. I'll look at it tonite.
  9. Will this work? I know it's not marine.
  10. How long do you let it cure before you screw it in?
  11. Not sure. Bought it last year new. Is there anyway to check what Gen it is?
  12. Really? I didn't know you could open up the SX.
  13. Does the Manns float?
  14. Does the lucky craft one float? Nm. Just saw that it's $60. lol. And if looks like a lure more than a snake.
  15. I was reading about pitching and flipping reels and saw that the Shimano Castaic had a unique instagage bar which is specific to pitching and flipping and makes it easier. However, the reel scored low on castability distance (according to tackletour review), although that is limited when flipping and pitching anyway. I tried today with my Abu Garcia Revo SX and 3/8oz. jig and the spool tension seemed to be too resistant even though I had it loosened way up. So, what's the best reel for flipping and pitching? I was watching a video on it and the guy said he used 1/2oz jigs or heavier to make it easier to pitch. Is there a minimum size you use to pitch and flip?
  16. It has automatic stow and deploy which would save tournament anglers time and energy. It also has automatic trim and it will deploy it at the same depth you had it set last time. It also has all of the important motor controls on the foot pedal control, something the Terrova does not. I just wonder how you deal with bringing it up to take off weeds. Will The New Minn Kota Ulterra Trolling Motor Become Popular On The Tournament Circuits?
  17. Cool. I can't wait to see your review.
  18. The Banjo Minnow actually works. lol However, I have not bought a Ron Popeil Pocket Fisherman rod. lol

  20. Yeah, I'd like to see if anyone else has tried them.
