Whats Some Good Buzzbaits Academy Carries?
I'd just get some Booyah's since they are cheap and you are ordering Cavitrons. I like the clacker model, only $3.96.

Why Don't Lure Manufacturers Use Weedless Treble Hooks More Often And Why Don't More Hook Companies Sell Them Seperate?
Also, if I'm fishing with a KVD Sexy Dawg 4.5" inch and KVD Splash Popper 3", which size replacement Mustad Weedless Treble Hooks should I use? http://www.cabelas.com/product/Mustad-W3551-Treble-Weedless-Hooks/702199.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dweedless%2Btreble%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts&Ntt=weedless+treble&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products#BVRRWidgetID

Why Don't Lure Manufacturers Use Weedless Treble Hooks More Often And Why Don't More Hook Companies Sell Them Seperate?
I fish with a KVD Sexy Dawg a lot and in a lot of places that have weeds a foot or so under the surface it gets caught up. What happens is when it is casted it lands and sinks about a foot before popping back up. Many times it has weeds on it then causing it to not work properly. I thought, this would be a perfect lure for weedless treble hooks. The KVD Sexy Dawg and Zara Spook and Popper type baits would be perfect candidates for weedless treble hooks. Also, a crankbait with weedless treble hooks wouldn't be a bad idea either. I know a lot of times fish bite when your ripping crankbaits through weeds, so it's not always the best. But it could be. Here you see other lures have already done it. Why don't lure manufacturers use weedless treble hooks more often? I know Mustad makes some weedless trebles, but it appears that most other companies do not. Why is that? http://www.cabelas.com/product/Mustad-W3551-Treble-Weedless-Hooks/702199.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dweedless%2Btreble%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts&Ntt=weedless+treble&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products

Review: Shimano Stradic Fj Vs. Shimano Stradic Ci4+
Yep, there's the Rapid Fire Drag you were talking about. It says it on my box too. I did return the Stradic FJ and will be picking up another Ci4+ when they go on sale. What does repairable clicker mean? Does it break often? lol

2500. Could maybe go with a 1000 but the 1000 doesn't have the Rapid Fire Drag.

Do Buzzbaits Work During The Daytime? - Hells Ya!
I've read a lot of articles and on forums that buzzbaits are best for evening and morning. I just really got into using buzzbaits a few weeks ago and as evening came on we put some Booyahs on and really did quite well at a local lake. We tried again a few evenings later and almost no success even though we were still catching fish with Senkos. A week later we tried again in the evening and crushed them. So it's definitely hit or miss. All of these times were in the same lake and same area at evening. I'm normally never up early enough for an early morning trip. I had a weekend trip planned for a friend's cabin coming up so I ordered some Cavitron Buzzbaits from Cabelas because I had heard good things about them on here. I also ordered some Ragetail Menaces from Bass Pro for my Sieberts Swim Jig since Mike recommended them. Of course neither arrived on time for the trip, although they did arrive the day I got home. Luckily we were able to stop by a small mom and pop place, on our way down South to the cabin. I picked up both the Cavitrons and Menaces while my friend picked up some Cavitrons on my advice. He said they'd better work. I said I hope they do. Well, we got out to the lake in the evening and fished with no success for the first hour as we moved down the shore fishing with different lures. We tried everything, swim jigs, Senkos, buzzbaits, Ragetail Toad, beetle spins, Rapala Scatter Rap, KVD Sexy Dawg, KVD Popper, and others. What we later found out about this lake was if one side was bad you should immediately go to another spot and you'll most likely find hungry fish. As we reached the opposing shoreline we started catching fish on Senkos. My buddy put on his Booyah Buzzbait to no avail. I caught the first one on a Cavitron. It definitely planed quicker then the Booyah Buzzbait. Eventually we all changed to our Cavitrons and caught about 6 good bass on them. We started out immediately with stinger hooks on our buzzbaits because my friend said a friend of ours recommended them. The next morning we went out around the crack of 11am. We caught fish on almost everything imaginable, Arashi crankbait, Senkos, Ragetail Bug Rage Rigged, Hollow Body frogs,KVD Sexy Dawg, KVD Splash Popper, Ragetail Structure Bug, Ragetail Toads, Scatter Rap, and Cavitron Buzzbaits. So I would definitely say it helped that the fish were hungry all weekend. We caught them all day on buzzbaits and into the evening. We did this the third day also until we left at around 12 noon. Weather conditions: Weather was bright, sunny, bluebird to overcast with rain sprinkles with glass calm to slight chop in the water. Most of the time it was bright, blue bird with dead calm. It was bright and sunny 98% of the time and only light rain and overcast on the last morning about 30 minutes before we left. So, bright and sunny and the fish were eating up the buzzbaits all day long. So, do buzzbaits work in the daytime also? Absolutely. Try them out sometime in the daytime, you might be pleasantly surprised. If the fish are hitting any type of topwater, it wouldn't be bad to try one on. *** Next time though we want to try a head to head test with the Cavitron Buzzbaits vs. Booyah Buzzbaits and others. It's just that the Cavitrons caught fish that first evening and the Booyah did not, so we stuck with the Cavitrons rest of the trip. Why change what's workin'? We caught fish from 1' foot of water down to deeper then 44' feet of water with the buzzbaits, KVD Sexy Dawg, and KVD Splash Popper. So topwater can pull fish from nearly any depth. Also, a all rubber net, I have a medium Ego 2 Slider clear rubber, is really great for non getting any tangles or the hook stuck in the net. The Ego 2 is also extremely compact and easy to use. Fish barely hooked. Good he had a trailer hook on the buzzbait. He caught 3 fish like this barely hooked on the stinger hook They would have been missed fish for sure if it wasn't for the stinger hook. I'd definitely recommend using a trailer hook on your buzzbaits.

Same Fish?
My friend and I were fishing with Senkos. I had a cinnamon brown one and he had a green pumpkin one. I let him use my cinnamon brown one and he immediately had it taken by a fish under a dock. I handed him back his rod with the green pumpkin Senko and he caught a fish under the same dock. A small rock bass. When he put it in the boat it spit out my cinnamon brown Senko. So, about 20 seconds. lol. So it could definitely be the same fish.

Immediate Infection From Bass Dorsal Fin?
I've had it happen before. It's never swollen up and gotten hard like that before.

Immediate Infection From Bass Dorsal Fin?
I was killing bass this weekend before cleaning them and when I whacked the fish with a metal rod it's dorsal fin punctured my pointer finger. The area where my finger was punctured immediately swelled up and got hard. It hurt for a day and was swollen and hard for that day also. Eventually it went down. I don't know if it hit a vessel and blood filled the finger or what, there didn't appear to be any discoloring or bruising. What happened? I now got cheap rubber coated gloves that I'll wear when killing fish. I don't want to experience that pain and chance of infection again.

Review: Mustad Kvd Fastach Clip & Swivel
I've read some bad reviews on the Norman speed clips. However, I've never used them. 3 of us have not had any issues with the KVD clips though and we've caught quite a fish including tackle busting northerns with not one problem.

The Secret To Not Losing So Many Senkos - Here's The Solution
No problem at all. If it was a problem I would look for another method. I gave my friend who's never been a huge bass some Senkos and he said he always thought they were a gimmick because wacky rigged is so simple and weird looking. Afterwards he couldn't believe how simple and effective they are. He was really excited when he watched one take off with his line and he set the hook landing about a 3lbs fish.

Savage Gear - Reviews, Videos, Etc.
Boom! Just got them 10 minutes ago! I did a review and they got back to me after Icast. They said they would send me 2 frogs. I had bought the smaller frog and asked if I could get 2 of the big frogs with action legs and they said no problem. Week later they showed up in the mail. He never gave me his name, but here's a thanks!
