How Does Each Brand Ride?
What is a C-channel trailer and what is a tube framed trailer? I have a Shorelander tailer on my Crestliner. I wonder what kind of trailer that is? Will a C-channel trailer not rust?

What Are Your Favorite Trailers For A Swim Jig?
I've been using a KVD Swim Jog with a KVD Rodent as a trailer. Some suggested that that's not the best trailer since it doesn't have the best swimming action and I've only been catching fish on the drop. A swim Senko as a trailer was recommended as where some other trailers that I've never heard of. I was just wondering what trailers some other people use. What trailers do you use for your swim jigs?

No Slack Senko Finishing
I use braid on all of my rods and an have switched almost entirely over to hi-vis colors specifically for like watching. When I am using a Senko I cast it and then throw some extra line down onto the water immediately. That way if the line moves at all it'll straighten out the curves in the like on the water and I'll know I have one. Sometimes your line doesn't move and when you reel up the slack you realize you have a fish on.

Would a wood bat work or is there something special about a metal bat?

Favorite Solid Body Frog?
Without a doubt the Ragetail Toad in green pumpkin. One of the greatest lures of all time IMHO. I've caught them on the sink and on the retrieve.

Good post! So, why would you put a Stratos above a Ranger, Triton, Skeeter, or any of the bigger names?

How Do You Quickly And Humanely Kill Fish?
I agree on the cutting the gills and blood part with bass. My brother tried the gill thing to bleed them, made a mess and the meat tasted the same. I tried the ice today and that didn't work so well. One was still alive and the others were sorta hardened in a u-shape which made filleting hard. I then tried using my knife to pierce the skull and reach the brain but it was so hard to push in I thought my knife blade was going to break in half and impale me. Man, I thought it was going to be easy to push the knife in after reading the posts on it. Well, cutting the gills, icing, and piercing their skulls with my knife is out. What will I do now. lol. And filleting them alive is also out of the question. lol. I did it in the past on a fish that I thought was dead. After one whole fillet was off it flopped around and threw scales everywhere inside my kitchen.

Percentage Wise How Do You Catch Most Of Your Fish On A Swim Jig: On The Drop Or Retrieve?
As the title says, How do you catch most of your fish on a swim jig: on the drop or retrieve? I've been using a KVD swim jig with a KVD Rodent as a trailer for about 4 weeks or so I believe. At first I was doing very well and then the last 2 weeks nothing. I made one cast today with one and caught a nice 1lbs bass on the drop. After that, nothing. Not one bite. I got to thinking, I've only caught fish using this on the drop, never on the retrieve. But I know a lot of guys catch them on the retrieve too. I'm 100% at catching them on the drop. What's your percentage of catching them on the drop and retrieve?

Buzzbaits
I didn't realize some have a clacker and some don't. How do you know the difference? I've never seen them and one said clacker or no clacker.

Pinky Finger Pain When Setting The Hook
I had the same problem with a St. Croix Rage baitcasting rod but it was one of my middle fingers. I think the part of the rod that goes thru the grip for sensitivity was hitting a nerve. Gave the rod 3 trips worth and it still had the problem. Changed rods and never had the problem again.

Most Successful Senko Rigging Style: Wacky Or Texas?
I have a lot of success with Wacky rigging my Senkos. My friend Texas rigs his. Perhaps this is so he doesn't lose so many Senkos. Which is the most successful Senko rigging style? 1.) Wacky 2.) Texas Rigged
