After a long day of hiking...Was actually pretty good after being roasted over fire. It's already cooked in the can.

Today I overheard 2 young men call my father a MF-er because he had a bucket. He uses it as a tackle box. I assume they assumed he was illegally taking bass during spawn season. I don't like fishing on holiday weekends.

Hooked the tail of a snapping turtle. Reeling it in, I thought I caught the world record since it was swimming away so hard.

If you are 4 feet tall, that's a record breaking fish.

Catching panfish on 2 or 4 pound line on a ultralight rod with small spinners is fun.

First fish of 2021 for me. 45 degrees and the lake had ice on 2/3rds.
