  1. Had a couple of real good fish on a Vision 110 Jr this past weekend. It as just the standard bait.. People will think I'm nuts, but I was throwing it on mono. I put the wrong reel on my jerkbait rod in a rush and realized I had 12lb Pline on there when we got out on the water. I threw it anyway and it changed the way the bait acted for sure. Had 25+ fish with a few really nice ones. It floated up slowwww. Something to think about i guess when not fishing in gin-clear water and wanted a bait that normally suspends to do something a little different.
  2. Fished this weekend after a few weeks of being too busy/bad winds. Did well with over 25 fish. I'm down near Ocean City.
  3. Bluefin Tuna vertical jigging hammered diamond jigs. Like a truck
  4. I'll be there at the Expo working. Can't wait
  5. Great find, they will treat you well. While the price may not seem as justified to guys here, these pliers are a must have for a lot of guys who fish saltwater here in the northeast. Whether in waders in deeper water or swimming in a wetsuit, these things can be continually submerged in saltwater for as long as you can keep them there and never rust, corrode, etc. You can't break these things. I know someone that found a set washed up on the beach and they looked new as they day they were made. The person had their name marked on them and he was able to find the owner. Turns out, he had lost them 3 weeks prior while making a deep swim to a rock. Would I pay the money to use them freshwater fishing? no. Would I for the other types of fishing that I do? I did and don't regret it at all. Enjoy them! They'll take care of you.
  6. I'm with STORMR. We've met at a few of the consumer shows this winter. Did real well on those Megashads....
  7. I will be there as an exhibitor. Can't wait! Bobby, I'll be just down the aisle from you
  8. 10/0 circle hook on 18inches of 270lb wire haywire twisted on both ends. Inside the twist I use a crane swivel that goes to crimped 6ft 130lb mono. Use an FG knot to attach the other end of the mono to 80lb Braid, which will be your running line. A fishfinder sinker slide goes on the mono. This is a rig you can cast or paddle the bait out. It may seem like overkill, but no matter what size you are "targeting" you want to be ready for any surprises. Up here, we get big rays that really put a hurting on you and break stuff if you are undergunned. Not to mention the big 9+ foot sharks swimming around.
  9. Hot a local body of water Saturday and Sunday as was able to find some nice fish in the mix. Roboworms and Damiki Ghosts on a Dropshot and Carolina Rigged Beavers took the quality fish for me. Most fish were tight to the grass and took a bit to figure it out, but a lot of fun. Looking forward to getting back out.
  10. My favorites include Greg Hackney, Hank Cherry, and Justin Lucas.
  11. Majority of my fish from the bank have come on a Red Dirt Bladed Jig with a Rage craw trailer yo-yoing it through grass. Had some quality fish on it so far, especially at night.
  12. I discovered a small, 2 acre unpressured pond within walking distance of my house this spring. The fish seem to hit anything, but so far I've done best on Red-Eye shads, Spinner baits, and Chatterbaits. Seems anything loud, bright, or flashy. It's tough to stay away, but i try to only hit it once or twice a week.....
  13. Love dropshotting XZone Wacky leeches. Do well on them
  14. I honestly like them. I tend to hang then up on submerged wood alot and alot of times I can pull it out and replace the hook rather than breaking off the whole bait... I also don't have an issue with losing fish with them. I'm bank fishing if that matters
  15. I believe you can only possess one fish over 24" at a time on Fork. They are saying he culled his "over". I guess they are just keeping their largest fish in the livewell....
  16. So far this year I've had a similar but slightly different issue. I seen to have a problem hooking these bass at times, but I've yet to miss a Pickeral.... I'm hitting a reservoir tomorrow, hoping to get a few
  17. Normally? too long. I don't change it up nearly as much as I think i should...
