What brand do you guys suggest and sizes and cranking amps.

I don't have a clue how to find out what kind of battery my motors requires. Its a 135 mercury. The coldest it gets were im at is 20 degrees but maybe 3 days out of the year.

I go to my lake twice a week when I can and its a electric motor only lake. Best way is the trolling motor, gain speed and right before getting to the trailer pull it up, should go up the trailer most of the way. then just walk up the trailer and hook the boat up and reel her in.

I need a new cranking battery. I know nothing about batteries except that my trolling batteries need to be deepcycle. I want something that is durable and long lasting. What do I need to get?

putting my boat back on the trailer I had my buddy sitting on the tailgate pulling the boat up. He got it all hooked up and I slammed the gas because I was in a hole and forgot to take it out of reverse. My buddy had to get a new phone and all my tools in my bed are rusted now lol. Lets just say im lucky the truck pulled out when half the bed was under water

I work as a scale operator and guard and I talk to 100s of truck drivers a day. Finally one of the truck drivers I talk to gave me some great advice. He told me to take a paper towel roll and put peanut butter inside in the center. Tie it to you rod and reel and cast it out in the yard somewhere get a rocking chair and wait. So I was sitting at the house one day bored and couldn't go fishing so heck ill try it out. I got it all set up and tied on, put the roll under a oak tree I have in the back yard and nothing, so I left it sitting there and put a bell on my rod end. Went fixed lunch 30 min and the bell goes to ringing I slowly get out there and grab the rod and sure enough I went to reeling in reel slow and the joker actually stayed in there. I went to go pick it up and off he went covered in peanut butter. That was the best 2 dollars for peanut butter I ever spent so if your ever stuck at home and can't go fishing give it a shot!! You wont be disappointed.

Let him take you fishing. Let him tell you what to do and were to do it even if you know were the best spots are I know my dad loves being in charge when we go fishing I guess its a since of pride and makes him feel good, he knows more that me anyways. I just wish I still had my grandparents around I was to young to really do anything with them when they were alive.

Do you have a boat?

I have a 95 procraft 170 pro v. Its only a 17ft 6inch boat and it handles water very well. The only structure issue I have is the floor were the seats are, the board is rotting in one spot but that's from previous owner. Half way down the boat on the top section above the rub rail the fiberglass is starting to spider web. I don't know why but its on both sides in the same spot. I don't see any were on the transom were it is starting to rot. But I love the thing and it handles great.

Well in my garage my rods are sitting on 4 inch nails with a little angle to the nails so the don't roll off. One nail half way of the rod and one for the but. Best rod racks ive ever owned. Maybe not the prettiest but they hold up forever, do the job, and is super cheap.
