  1. Welcome aboard!
  2. I checked, and I think I'm getting alzheimers ;D I must have sent it to the wrong place. I'll get it in on the 10,000 member video.
  3. You didn't send one in!!! Er, yeah I did. I sent it to the e-mail address posted. I remember b/c I sent two different methods, an IMG method and a website tag method. I may have typed in the wrong email or something.
  4. Whoa there, I was just rechecking the video and I don't think my picture was in it.
  5. A "sticky" is a post made in a section that is either important that people need to read, or a post that people read a lot and the moderators put it there for convienence sake. Only mods can make posts "stickied." As for the pictures, http://www.bassresource.com/fish/picture_tutorial.html http://www.bassresource.com/fish/picture_tutorial_mulitpics.html
  6. Good job! Who is that sexy man who has the orange shirt and bass in his hands? ;D
  7. Agreed...to America and Freedom!
  8. Well, y'see I agree with your opinions. Where I am coming from is the cursing at his children. Properly punishing a child and calling them a sloppy, arrogant pig and cursing at them is an entirely different matter. Keep in mind that this young girl is only 11 years of age, and is caught in the middle of a divorce that has drug on for years. From what I've gathered, she did nothing to cause this phone message. Validity for what? This girl has done nothing wrong, therefore why should she be cursed and yelled at? Now, had she done something wrong to invoke punishment, by all means punish her, but don't curse at her. In our family, when I was younger, if you cursed, you couldn't sit down for a while, if you know what I mean.
  9. I assume everyone here has heard about the tirade of Alec Balwdin. If you haven't already heard, Mr. Baldwin has been going through a heated divorce with his wife Kim Basinger. The quote below states what he said on an April 11 phone call to his daughter. It is taken from www.breitbart.com The Oscar-nominated star of "The Departed" unleashed a heated tirade at daughter Ireland, who has been caught in the middle of ***-for-tat legal battles between Baldwin and ex-wife Kim Basinger in recent years. Baldwin's April 11 rant -- where at one point he informs his daughter that she is a "rude, thoughtless, little pig" -- was reported widely in US broadcast and online media Friday. The 49-year-old actor's ire was apparently triggered by Ireland's failure to switch her mobile phone on for a scheduled call with her father. "Once again I've made an *** out of myself trying to get to a phone at a specific time," Baldwin says in the message. "I'm tired of playing this game with you. You have insulted me for the last time. "You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being -- I don't give a d**n that you are 12 or 11 or a child or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the *** who doesn't care what you do." Baldwin then tells his daughter that he is going to fly to Los Angeles to "straighten her out." Baldwin's spokesman said in a statement that "in the best interest of the child" the actor would "do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing -- keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order." My personal beliefs are that no matter how angry you get at your child, it is wrong to curse openly at them and treat them like dirt. To me, this is verbal abuse to a child.
  10. My thing is, people call themselves African-American, Irish-American, German-American, and all other sorts of " - American". IMHO, if you are born in America, you are an American. Everyone in this country, excluding Native Americans, originally immigrated from another country. However, you aren't labeled as an Irish-American, German-American, etc., you are just plain AMERICAN.
  11. Hey, those are the fish that people buy to put in their fish tanks,
  12. Not my thoughts. I hate snakes. > I won't usually kill black snakes, as I've heard they keep away rodents as well as poisonous snakes, but if I see copperheads that would bite my dogs, BOOM! No threat anymore.
  13. An umbrella! Ok, ok, leaving now. Seriously though, I agree with topwaters. During the rain, or after the rain, food for minnows has been washed into the water. Minnows come to feed on the food, and bass come to feed on minnows.
  14. You're officially a mook! Welcome to the club. Refreshments are at Muddy's house ;D
  15. Welcome aboard, and WHAT A FISH!
  16. Great job! 8-)
  17. Hello, welcome to the forum. The moderators will probably move this to the appropriate area so members in the Rochester area can possibly hook up with you. Good areas for shore fishing are fallen timber, weeds, stumps, and any good looking "cover" you can find. Try a variety of lures as well.
  18. Thanks for the comments, guys! I usually carry a fishing bag/creel with a strap so I can sling it around my shoulder. As far as the rods, I usually put them length ways across the handle-bars. It's pretty easy. I tried the tackle box once, and didn't have good luck with that... ;D Bass XL, thanks for the reminder! I'll head over and change that now.
  19. Well, ya didn't catch any fish, but you caught a great bargain!
  20. Welcome aboard! I recommend either dropping the snap swivel or using a very small one. Those can be good with live bait, however, they can interefere with lure appearance, as well as the action. As far as lure selection, try to mix it up and use differing tactics. Try a white 3 or 4 inch senko, I have had very good luck with those lately. Hook the lure through the middle, and pitch it to good looking areas such as fallen timber and weeds. If you do good with minnows, try using a small minnow crankbait, just about the size of the minnows you use to fish with. Move around and try different spots. The key is variety, and eventually, you'll find a pattern and hook up with some fish! Thanks and see ya around! -Troutfisher
  21. They are posted by the same guy. He is the owner of another forum that has attracted many of the members that we have banned in the last year or so. Don't worry about them. Ok, I've heard of that forum before, and I myself know of some members who switched to there. That man just makes himself look dumb by posting as the same guy. ;D
