  1. For me to throw a frog for 2-4 hours and catch "0-2" fish would never happen. I wouldn't even have a frog rigged up if that was the norm. Around here, when the frog bite is on, it can be back to back casts.

    Pretty good
  3. Man I wish the wind would have swirled that spray around on her. Holy freaking crap... I'm surprised the bear (and any other predators) didn't come running for her... Sounds just like a wounded rabbit/fawn call. Bear... Bear!!! Why are you doing that! Shut it lady!
  4. Think id skip both and fish miola.
  5. Treat lily pads like a brushpile you are flipping. Hit the gaps and openings.
  6. This for sure. Seal it off and go fishing. If you get water in the boat still then pull the boat out and see if you can spot where it is coming from. It has to be something pretty obvious and big to fill that fast with water... I've had bilge and livewell pumps loose seal and let water by before.
  7. Congrats! Good looking cat. Your friend in the second pic looks like he is taking a pic and peeing at the same time. lol.
  8. If it's up by the in-laws I have seen some STUD gobblers walking around. I'm talking 30lb birds with beards as thick as a 16 ounce pepsi bottle.
  9. Yup you will do just fine. Nobody will laugh at you, especially if you practice and every time you pull the trigger a duck or dove drop. I have a break over .410 and a 12. Very fun guns.
  10. Could go either way with that one. I've seen little guys shred a tree like that and I've seen big guys do that as well. Looks like it goes fairly close to the ground. The bigger ones around here tend to start at about knee high (on a human) and run up to about the waist. I hope it's a stud just itching his brows!!! Good luck buddy!
  11. True dat. Love that pond. Been a few months since I've been out there. Better go see if I can "force feed" them a wobbler!
  12. I use the hack attack hook now. The trokar is great, but unfortunately too great. When flipping dense grass (water willows here) it takes very little pressure to have the hook bury through the bait and into willows. Only baits that reduce this is the Zman stuff. Hack attack hook doesn't have this issue and is a super strong, aggressive hook.
  13. Wife lost 2lbs for a total of 6lbs in 5 days!!!
  14. Be on time Be respectable Have conversation but don't yap about your sister in laws baby sister... For club format, pay the boats entry fee. He is providing the boat and gas. Talk to him the night before the tournament to see if you need to bring extra water bottles, ice, snacks etc. I say talk to him about it because it's better than just showing up with extra stuff only to find out he has a full cooler and now you are taking up extra room. Ask him if he wants you to net his fish. (some people aren't comfortable with others netting). If you run a lot during the day, pitch in some for gas. $20 bucks shouldn't be anything to you but it earns a lot of respect from a boater. ($20 if you paid his entry fee. $40-$60 if you did not) Use smart judgment. Don't constantly cast behind the boat getting snagged. Understand that if you get snagged, you will most likely have to break off. Sometimes you run into guys that don't mind and will flip around for you. Just try to not make a habit of it. Basically just use common sense. You are gonna run into some D bags, they are everywhere, but for the most part you are gonna bond with some really cool down to earth guys who in the long run will teach you a ton about the sport. (If you do get a D bag, DON'T ARGUE OR INSTIGATE AN ARGUMENT WITH HIM... JUST STAY QUIET, FISH THE TOURNAMENT AND WALK AWAY THE BIGGER PERSON!!!! There is nothing in the world work better than a boat that has good chemistry in the front and back. Good luck. GJM
  15. Back from weigh in. Lost 4.4lbs. Total of 10.4lbs in 5 days. I feel great, and motivation is at an all time high. I'm so ready to be able to fit in some of my "skinny" clothes. Thanks for the support fellas! I will update my wife's result after she weighs in this evening! Stay tuned!
  16. Weekend was tough guys. My dad came in town and we had friends over Sunday for football Sunday. Dad and my daughters enjoyed his famous lasagna (by far my favorite meal) Saturday, and then they all enjoyed pizza and wings on Sunday. My wife and I however at grilled chicken and broccoli for lunch and sirloin steak, half of a baked potato and green beans for dinner. Yesterday we had eggs in the morning with cucumber and skim milk. Ate an orange and apple for lunch. Then had grilled tilapia with half baked potato and steamed broccoli. The funny thing is I'm not craving food. As in not hungry. I smelled the lasagna, pizza and wings and wanted to eat it simply because I knew it tasted fantastic, but wasn't hungry at all. We stayed strong this weekend thankfully. Gonna go weigh in today to see if there was any progress since Friday. As far as the price goes, I'm not going to hide anything from you guys. My wife and I did something a little different "plan" wise with slim4life, and are experimenting with some things. After it's been under my belt for a bit. I'll break down costs for exactly what you need (we all know they are gonna sell it regardless if you "need" it or not). Be patient on that one, and I'll get all the have to haves down for you. Stay tuned!
  17. Good looking fish Adam. Have your tried the JR pomp yet?
  18. Matter of time=3 weeks
