Kayak Bass Fishing!
They are for 2012 and up: http://www.wildernesssystems.com/community/airpro-max-seat-instructions As far as I can tell, if you can swap between the old high and low seats, you can use the max seat.

Kayak Bass Fishing!
They have the "Max" seat now, that converts to low or high or reclines. It is supposed to fit all Ride yaks. http://www.austinkayak.com/products/15328/Wilderness-Systems-AirPro-Max-Seat.html

A white 1/6oz Rooster Tail. I've caught: Largemouth Smallmouth Spotted Bass Ozark Bass Crappie Catfish Rainbow Trout Brown Trout Cutthroat Trout Bluegill Redear Sunfish Longear Sunfish Yellow Bass White Bass ...and probably other species as well, all on a white Rooster Tail.

Tired Of Line Twist
Make sure you are pulling the line off the spool in the right direction. Go the wrong way and you are double twisting it.

A Good Beer
Blue Moon is my favorite for just drinking. Coors light and Miller light and Landshark are good too. I'll drink pretty much anything other than Busch or Bud light. If having it with a meal I like something more flavorful like Warsteiner.

Tired Of Line Twist
The thing about braid and line twist is that it doesn't cause any issues for a while, then once it gets twisted enough and you let some slack in the line, it will twist up on itself like crazy and tie itself into knots. So, every once in a while you need to untwist it, even if it doesn't appear to be twisted.

A Word Frequently Misspelled On Here.
This one gets me too. How the heck do you get those two mixed up?

Frustrated With A Baitcaster
Make sure you are following through with the rod. When I was teaching my wife to use a baitcaster, she had a tendency to stop the rod at or shortly after the point of release. This would do what you described and send the bait right into the ground on an overhand cast. Just like shooting a shotgun, don't stop to pull the trigger, swing through. Concentrate on being smooth and following through. Point your rod where you want the bait to land after the release.

Transporting 12' Kayak
I haul my Slayer 12 around in the 5' bed of my Tacoma with the tailgate down, no bed extender. It is just barely in past it's center of gravity. One ratchet strap through the handles, pulling it forward and down seems to work just fine. I haven't noticed any deformation in the hull where it meets the tailgate. I drive 30 minutes or more to get to the lakes I fish.

Zeko "fishing" Shoes
I've been looking for something like those. I typically wear Chacos, but my feet will get sunburned when it gets really hot out. Would be great for river wading too to keep the rocks out. I've looked at some other water shoes from Chaco and Merrell, but the Zekos are cheaper. I'm liking these Merrels a lot though: http://www.zappos.com/merrell-waterpro-maipo-drizzle-navy?zlfid=191&ref=pd_sims_p_ab_1

Abu Garcia Black Max
I thought the same thing, then I used a Revo. The BlackMax is not bad, but is nothing compared even to a Revo S.

Battery Pack For Fish Finder
Yep that would be 12Ah. Probably a quarter of the weight of an SLA. I too didn't think about battery chemistry other than lead until after I got a 9Ah SLA. Oh well, it still is not that heavy and may be more reliable.

Battery Pack For Fish Finder
I got a dry box and cut a hole in it and mounted a waterproof connector. I have a Native Slayer, so in hull space is hard to get to. I just strap the battery box down in the open. I have a 12V 9Ah battery and it runs my Lowrance Elite 5 all day no problem. If you want a really small and light battery, check these out: http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC12V-12000mAh-Super-Rechargeable-Portable-Li-ion-Battery-US-Plug-for-CCTV-NEW-/171715438036?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27fb09a5d4

Kayakers, What Is The Max Weight You Use For Anchor?
I have a 3 lb collapsible claw anchor. More important than the weight is having enough line out to get the anchor to dig in and hold. A heavier anchor will be fine, just harder to haul in and adds weight when you are loading/unloading.

Berkely Lightning Shock
I've not used the casting Lightning rods, but I do have 2 spinning rods, one is an original (2-piece) and one is a shock (1-piece). Both are 6'6" Medium. I like the shock better, I like the split grip (just for looks), the reel seat is better, the eyes are better. I can't tell a difference in feel though, the original may be a tiny bit more sensitive. The shock is definitely worth the $10 over the original.

12# Big Game For T Rigs
I used to use 12lb big game because that's what my dad uses. I've caught plenty of fish on a t-rig with it. But, once I tried braid, there was no going back. I prefer the sensitivity of braid and not having to swing for a home run on a hookset. I use 30lb power pro with a 12lb fluoro leader for my t-rig rod.

Spin Reel $150 Price Range
I've never understood spending a lot on a spinning reel. I get it with baitcasters because of the brakes and bearings playing a role in casting. But, with a spinning reel, what do you get when you spend more, a little smoother drag and lighter weight?

7" Berkley power worm in blue flake, t-rigged.

Elite 5 Hdi
I got an elite 5 during the winter, I've only used it a few times so far, but it is great. I have an Elite 4x as well, I got the 5 because I wanted one with GPS and a bigger screen. Mine came with a coastal map card, I need to get one for the lakes around me.

Cold Tonight, Breezy Tomorrow. Dare I Go Out?
Fishing in the wind sucks. Fishing in the wind from a kayak sucks more.

Backpacking Rods That Are Actually Decent?
I ended up getting a Browning Safari 6'6" ML. Seems pretty good just throwing a weight in the yard. Seems sensitive and stiff enough to fish some light T-rigs and bitsy jigs. That Eagle 50 may be better, but I just can't buy a rod without handling it first.
-
Backpacking Rods That Are Actually Decent?
The Ardito looks awesome, but a little expensive for a rod that won't get used very often.

Backpacking Rods That Are Actually Decent?
That Eagle 50 looks nice. BPS has something similar: https://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Micro-Lite-Graphite-Pack-Spinning-Rod/product/10204877/?utm_referrer=direct%2Fnot%20provided&utm_referrer=direct%2Fnot%20provided Has anybody used either of these? They both have good reviews. I have a BPS local, hopefully they will have one in store I can handle before buying.
