Check local laws you may have to take a safety course before hunting, I know you have to acquire your orange card in KY. My vote is for bow season last a lot longer and imo a deer with a bow is more rewarding. I notice you mention mobility my advice is sit still. Sure deer will be killed still hunting but much more will be killed setting up in a prime spot just waiting. My number one tip is don't think hunting is going to be like what you see on tv because it's not.

Just a little reminder to keep your boat maintained. Had been having gas problems with my boat. Seemed to not be getting enough gas wouldn't plane out or anything. So I change the fuel pump and all the gas lines take it out same thing, still not running good. Change plugs check compression everything is good take it back out same thing. Take my first three carbs off all are super clean look brand new, get to my last one and the jet is just laying there not even in place. Take it out today runs like a top, turns out I was getting to much gas and flooding it to death. Just a reminder guys cause as we all know boats cost a lot and can cost just as much to fix.

IMO nothing strange about that pattern. A water temp where bass is generally more active and feeding, high water can be good if stable or rising but not so much if falling in my experience, bass will be usually be shallower in stained water. I do feel like slight wind can fire up a shallow water cover bite which sounds like you had. I don't buy into the sun stuff a whole lot unless it's very clear water and very bright imo it don't affect water with more color to it but can if very bright. Have you had a cold front pass through lately? Maybe that bright sky thawed them out and made them want to chew!!

Yes if you can stretch your budget that much get the helium 3 I have one and love it. I might get flamed for this but honestly imo and I know a lot of other people's NFC blank > anything else.

You don't have the best on the list. Kistler klx high quality guides, cork, and reel seat and the most impressive part a north fork composites blank. Kistler rods have the cleanest build I've ever seen. Pretty much a "custom" rod imo.
