  1. I second this. I bought one and love it. You can quickly slide the bag to the front and get what you need.
  2. Never take a chair. Just dress comfortable and stay on the move. Get a good shoulder bag and pack light.
  3. What? Those are some of the simplest and most effective lures out there!
  4. One thing that works form me is a light Wacky rig setup. I use zoom trick worms. Also,I.am.located in north east Kansas so I understand the cold.
  5. That's one of those "You really don't need to fish today" signs.
  6. Not a problem, this kind of info is why I asked
  7. Check out Scott Martin's youtube page. It's pretty enjoyable, and doesn't seem to have too much product promotion. Plus he has tons of episodes where he challenges well known anglers.
  8. This is an awesome video. Plain and simple.
  9. I bet Jerry was happy about last night! That was hard to watch haha.
  10. I think she would have a nervous breakdown if we lived next to that much temptation. She is lucky BPS is about an hour away from where we will be living. She already thinks the $79 Black-max vengeance combo I have is "enough for everything", she is in for a RUDE awakening over the next few decades haha.
  11. Looks like that bass' mouth is bigger than his brain. Kind of like how my wallet is bigger than my brain. HAH!
  12. Makes sense. I will definitely look into those rod/reels. When I move to Fort Worth here soon I will be living across the street from an Academy. My wife is going to hate it!!!
  13. I have seen rods with and without micro-guides. Are there any true benefits of having them, or is it just a perception/placebo thing?
  14. Thanks again for the help. Do you use some tape on the knot to prevent tagline snags like someother anglers do?
  15. It's a shame that these things still happen. The deterioration of morals is growing.
  16. What's the deal with the micro guides? Are there any added benefits of having them instead of regular sized guides?
  17. This was my first real order at jigs. I decided to stick with Arky jigs in 1/4 - 3/8 oz in various colors, and 1 Gridiron Arky 3/8oz considering I have never really used jigs before. I will definitely look into a Dredge though once I get more expirienced and knowledgable.
  18. Oh I know! Haha, and I will be starting to kayak fish. I am beyond excitied about how much I will learn this Spring. It's going to be great.
  19. I would chunk a dropshot out there and work it. Try all kinds of crazy colors, if you can get your pet bass to bite, then wild bass might bite even more if the conditions are right.
  20. I wish i could scout out new waters. I am moving to Fort Worth in February so looking around here in Kansas is pretty pointless. Good luck though!
  21. Haha, you mean you don't like salad with your meat?
  22. I know everyone has their own preferences. But what lures and techniques do you absolutely despise?
  23. When you say house brand what kinds are you talking about? I am about an hour away from Academy so unfortunately I can't just go and look or I would.
  24. Any of you heard anything about the new BPS Viper combos?
  25. It's very much so a starter jig setup.
