  1. You know, it has never occurred to me to try this. Thanks @A-Jay, will have to try this out!
  2. I like to fish with a jig, but 9 times out of 10 I end up losing the jig and move on to something else....lol.
  3. Like everyone else said, keep the old one til it dies!
  4. I have the GY Popper, works great for me, also use the grubs soft baits for trailers. Was wanting to try a GY crank, just haven't got one yet. But I would like to see what everyone else says on it.
  5. Schumacher XC10 10/6/2-Amp Battery Charger I had different "toys" with different batteries so this multiple Amp one works good for me. It also auto senses the type of battery.
  6. Yeah sounds like he's scamming you for more $$. There's some sad people out there.
  7. Depends how bad you want this item. If its still a deal, then maybe go ahead and give them some grief and pay it. Or research shipping options for them (yes I know its not on you) maybe you can find a solution that way.
  8. Well it may seem like a pain, but I would pull the batteries take them with you and do what was said above. I got a decent charger maintainer from Wal-Mart for around $20-30 dollars. With safety mechanisms on these chargers, if there is a problem, they cut off. OR Find a better dock slip with power. OR Get some cash ready to buy new batteries.
  9. Flood gates are still open and will be for awhile. You can call the Corps (#1-800-533-3478) to get the latest info on the dam. Not sure if that is a typo or what, but if you meant dam, I would probably try to go a little more north than that, never had good fishing down there. Check websites and call ahead to spots to make sure their boat ramps are open too. Think Wildwood closed their ramps. With the weather being crazy, not sure how they are doing right now. But head towards the banks and work your way out to deeper water, white spinner bait, worms, lizards, jigs. Everything is underwater so a lot of "new" cover and structure for the bass is there. You can also check southernfishingreport.com for what they have been using. Good luck to you.
  10. Like most UGA fans, we hate both teams, but GO SEC! So bama.

  12. x2 I found myself in this situation, yeah it sucks, but it happens. After 4+ years of boozing and feeling sorry for myself, I finally decided to forgive myself, yes myself. You have to, otherwise your just going to continue to blame everything and everyone for the situations you find yourself in. After taking responsibility I decided that only one person can make it better, and that's yourself. I now workout 6 days a week and been studying for different certifications. Bottom line is, only you can make you happy, no matter where or what you do! Best of luck to you man. Motivation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgmVOuLgFB0
  13. Welcome! I found a lure in my big toe swimming as a kid, I held onto it and hung it on the wall in the garage. If it was that old I would put it up for keeps.
  14. Happy New Year! Went out this afternoon, put in at Points West water was 336ft, and around 60 degrees, looked cleaner than last week. Started fishing the banks with lizards and worms working slow in about 3-8 foot water. Threw lizard in and sent a text, started taking up my slack and fish on! Fishing was pretty good, total caught today was 7 nice size bass. Baits used: BioSpawn brown worm with plasma tail - HOT!!! Brushhog green lizard - worked well too. Small green craw - worked. Added pic of Point West boat dock, bring waders no matter where you go right now. Above is this boat ramp at Points West, bring your waders!
  15. If you look at the bushes, the water was another foot or two higher, and about 25 more feet up in the road. Either way it sucks.

  17. Not sure how much mine weighs, but I do know its not heavy enough! ha
  18. In my experience: 1. Match the hatch 2. Change size 3. Change color 4. Something completely off the wall
  19. reb76, I can help you out on some spots on Clarks Hill, as far as the boat I don't have any recommendations unless your military/retired, then I would say Points West. Message me if you want.
  20. So I have been a member for over a year now and realized how much I have learned since being here on this site. I just want to say to everyone that contributes, writes, videos, moderates, sponsors, and those who just drops in from time to time, thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience, techniques, and your time that you give to all of us still learning and growing as fishermen. You have been a great help to me personally, especially when I out fish my buddy! Take care all and tight lines.
