I bought one bait caster so far, a BPS tourney special, anyways, I see, hear, read about how great they are, well I guess that is true for the ones that "get it down" on the casting. Been practicing on and off the water for about a year now, still can't outcast my open cast, plus its right handed and the switch up after the cast is just weird for me. Been trying to find a left handed one to try out before wasting my money on another. So yeah I feel your pain Bostonstronggggg. Before everyone inputs, yes I have had people show me how to cast it. I wish I could get it down...IDK.

You might want to contact the tournament folks and ask if your setup will allow you to fish in the tournament, before you waste a lot of money and time.

Had one jump and throw the hook too the other day...it looks real pretty when they jump, but man, they be a lot prettier in a picture of me holding it...lol. Good story Josh. Tight lines to ya!

I went on the 15th and the 24th, they are hitting on watermelon lizards pretty good as long as your in the front of the boat and not the back...lol, but that's another story. Sorry for no report, just been having really bad time last few times I been out, and haven't really wanted to post about it.

I use Gary Yamamoto Shibuki Popper - Baby Bass I also use a smaller white popper, not sure of the brand.
