Interesting. I always wonder how many issues are out there and how many are reposts on the internet. I havnt heard of anyone I personally know having an issue or myself for that matter. I snapped a tip on a 2 piece a couple years ago in the rod locker. Quick phone call and I was able to purchase a new top section and had it in no time.

Found me a local bass club years ago. Give me a reason to fish about 6 weekends a year on top of my normal fishing. Good crew. Fish for fun with some of them thought out the year. All my friends have kids now. They are busy. We make plans for for a few guys weekends a year. I have always been the one to keep in contact with everyone. Starting to drag on me. So time to upgrade the tin ship to a real bass boat and get the adventures going. I'm just going to start making plans and throwing invites out to the crew. I'm going this is when I'm leaving. I use the vmc hooks all the time for smallmouth. Only issue is one broken hook, but that was just from way to many fish on the same hook.

Good ideas. I was thinking if I had something on a switch I could use it for loading up in the morning or working on something in the dark.

I want to brighten things up a bit for the tow rig. Trying to think of ideas for adding some extra backup lights for these dark ramps in the morning. Probably going to put them on a switch and mount them on the back of the truck.

I find some of these longer ones with floats tend to get tangled up with eachother and hung up in the live well causing issues. I can't remember the name of mine. I'll check them at home. You just have to be pretty exact on how you attached them.

Odd ball here apparently. I use copper tone or meijer brand. I have a wide brim floppy hat that I wear if the wind isn't too bad otherwise it is annoying. I try to wear long sleeves and the bufff typically stays around my neck and I get too warm quick.
