  1. I have 203k on my 2004 Z71. Other than wheel bearings and brake lines( thanks to salt) I have had no issues. I change my filter and fluid every 50k in the transmission.

  4. Use a 6. 7 is too fast. Easier to speed up a retrieve than slow down

  7. Lizards don't work. Send them to me to melt down and repurpose.
  8. Dry, clean and lube. Probably not much different than fishing in a down poor for a few hours

  11. Upsize in your line. Run 15 pound test mono. Something that won't break the bank. The larger line will be easier to pick out the backlash. Throw a topwater so you don't have to worry about getting snagged while picking out a backlash. Practice practice practice
