  2. Well from the looks of it in this little town in Utah you better waste water or go to jail. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,288642,00.html
  3. dont mow the grass.....save that extra fuel for your boat and truck.
  4. congratulations and good luck. you are on your way to a possible career we all ***.
  5. I stopped and looked at a Fisher 1648 with a 25hp mercury tiller tonight. The boat looks to be this one http://www.fisherboats.com/boat/index.cfm?boat=2221 It seems to be in pretty good shap. No dents only a few scratches. It also has a trailer and a Hummingbird fish finder. Everything looks to be in pretty good shape. I have to still make a call to find out how old the boat and motor are and maybe set up a test drive. What should I expect to pay for something like this. I know what the gentleman is asking but I want to get a couple of opinions. Thanks
  6. It doesnt matter what we have or what we spend as long as we are fishing and having FUN...That is what is all about is having fun... As we all know it is the 4 year old kid with the snoopy pole and a leaf worm that will outfish us.
  7. JUST GO FISHING!!!
  8. kalamazoo is in Michigan.
  9. I tend to cast upstream and let the current work a bait like a light jig head with twister tail grub back down stream for me keeping semi-slack line. This works extreme well for smallmouth in my area. Also I like to target wood and rock way more than grass and weeds when fishing rivers.
  10. ;D http://www.coveryourbass.com/ This is what everyone needs. :
  11. Get into those coves and use a top water....I prefer a pop-r or floating rapala.
  12. RoadWarrior, Where are you on this one?
  13. I just looked through the sticky posted at the top of the page about Senko stlye baits and I didnt see what I was looking for..... Does anyone have any pictures of their wacky rigged "senkos"? I have yet to try this method and I need a visual so I can give this a shot. Thanks Also how are the o-rings and tubing used in this method that I have read about. I guess I just dont get it without seeing it.
  14. hey you have to let them out fish you every once and a while otherwise they wont want to go.
  15. When they are hungry they are hungry.....I've only ever caught one before that had just eaten...had the pinchers to a crayfish sticking out of his throught.
  16. Great story. How did you two fair in the tourney?
  17. Yes. It all depends on what the fish want. Sometimes I'll just drag them through the rocks bouncing it all around. OR I will sometimes swim them above weedbeds or pitch them to stumps and blow downs. They are a very versitle lure in my opinion.
  18. Do you have to start from a specific spot? What is the start time in the morning?

Besides Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops where can I order bulk gamagatsku and owner hooks? Thanks
  21. For those of you who are using the Gander Mountain guide series fishing rods, what are you opinions of them?
  22. Pop R is a definate. Some Mister Twister grubs too.
  23. Have you tried throwing tubes? Maybe with a football head on the inside or a regular tube head? I usually use white. I throw it on spinning gear 8-10 pound test. Also try dragging a grub around the large rocks. Sometimes it take a while to make them bit. Smallies will eventually get ticked and strike. I have thrown a tube and grub at a single fish for an hour before getting him to strike. Don't give up.
  24. Are they on the beds? Can you see a bed? How deep is the water? What is the structure like?
